Chapter 1959 - Chapter 1321: Interstellar Grand Stage (28)_1

The cannonball from the hand cannon crashed into the rubble, instantly turning the already narrow and cramped alleyway into a dust storm. The words uttered by Jarvis alerted everyone. Wanda waved her hand, and the red ribbon-like power spread from her fingertips to the walls of the surrounding houses.

All the scattered debris was deflected as they touched the membrane formed by Wanda's red power, and the explosion from Iron Man's Iron Armor caused no major damage to the surroundings.

This somewhat angered the Scarlet Witch, who was getting increasingly annoyed with those who recklessly used their superpowers to destroy vast areas. Yes, she was specifically referring to Magneto and Polaris.

Whenever this father-daughter duo fought, no matter when or where, it always resulted in a cloud of dust and debris. This caused Wanda to have a physiological stress response whenever she encountered such scenes.

Before Jarvis could stop her, Wanda rose into the air, her long hair trailing in the wind, her powerful energy suddenly unleashed, and red light flowing from her eyes. The architectural debris destroyed in her previous fight with Venom began to whirl around her.

Iron Man in his battlesuit suddenly turned around, only to be hit straight in the chest by a colorful energy attack.

"Bang!"

"Wanda! Stop!" Ben Reilly shouted.

"Wanda, don't be controlled by power!" Jarvis also called out.

Hearing familiar voices, Wanda's fleeting loss of control was suppressed. The energy output aimed at the unfamiliar Iron Man slightly decreased. After flinging the metallic figure into the distance, Wanda redirected her power, knocking Iron Man unconscious with a sharp "Argh".

Looking at the fallen figure, Reilly rushed over first, shouting, "Mr. Stark! Mr. Stark! Are you alright?"

"His battlesuit is 86% damaged," Jarvis calmly approached and said, "The AI navigation system has also shut down. It seems he just went through a major battle and possibly a long journey. Both his physical and mental state are in terrible condition."

"What should we do?" Reilly asked anxiously, then had a sudden realization. He is not Peter Parker, and the Iron Man before him might not be the Iron Man from his universe. But he instinctively sighed and said, "We have to figure out a way to help him. I feel like he's on the brink of death."

"Your feeling is correct." Jarvis walked closer, crouching down to put his fingertips on Iron Armor's faceplate, and instantly Jarvis took control of the Iron Armor.

Quickly he frowned more furrowed, he said: "The body damage has reached an irreparable point. No, I have to disarm him first and get him out of the iron box. Once the Iron Armor disassembles, it may damage his body. You guys help out, in case the parts get stuck, and we need to dismantle the battlesuit."

The others quickly gathered around, and as it turned out, Jarvis's handling was correct. The minute he issued the disassembly command, the parts on the armor started to expand uncontrollably.

Nightingale swiftly held down the sparking metal, getting an electric shock and yelping. Wanda quickly took over his work, covering her hands with magic energy.

"Let go... let me go! Damn Ten Commandments Gang!" Stark suddenly convulsed and shouted. Wanda revealed an embarrassed expression, the red glow on her hand intensifying.

As she was about to increase her power output to keep Stark in a deep coma, Jarvis reached out to stop her and looked at her pleadingly, saying, "Wanda, he can't cope with any more power mentally. You need to be gentle."

Looking at his expression, Wanda felt somewhat captivated. She knew, she knew that the relationship between Jarvis and Stark was not simple. Jarvis was quite powerful and knew too much. His knowledge of the Solar System Development Plan was too deep, and his source of information was mysterious. Without access to the core information of the Luminous Alliance, he couldn't achieve this.

Wanda didn't have a good impression of superheroes, especially Stark, who had a bad temper. When she helped Professor X deliver documents, she was often ridiculed by him. But seeing Jarvis's expression, Miss Witch felt a bit sympathetic. So, she gradually reduced her power output and murmured: "Thanks to the recent classes at Xavier's Dreamland School, I wouldn't have known this low-frequency output method before."

The weak red light spread over Stark's body, and as the power gradually penetrated his body, Wanda furrowed her brows. She closed her eyes and spoke as if reciting a spell, "I feel him very tired, annoyed, and incredibly sad. He has traveled a long journey and endured endless nights... I can see the starry universe..."

"Enough, Wanda, don't probe deeper," Jarvis reminded her again.

As Stark's condition gradually stabilized, they all worked together to remove the almost scrapped Iron Armor from him. Staring at the face identical to Stark, they were at a loss for words.

Nightingale finally broke the silence and said, "It seems his condition is very bad, and we can't send him to the hospital right now. It might be a bit risky before we figure out where he's from."

"Alright, let me give Fungi Man a call. He should be with Matt. Let Matt drive us to his place. He has basic medical facilities and can help us assess whether our otherworldly Iron Man visitor is friend or foe," spoke Nightingale.

The young people all nodded their heads, agreeing with Nightingale's statement. This was indeed the most prudent approach at the time.

They couldn't even let Stark reveal himself on the streets of the Bronx District. Reporters were everywhere, if they captured images of an injured Stark, it could likely cause panic.

The media lurking around would love to interpret any scene as a sure sign of the imminent failure of aerial transport technology. If tech giant Stark fell here, it would be a dream come true for the forces working behind the scenes.

After about a few minutes, a pickup truck arrived at the alley entrance. Surprisingly, it wasn't Matt who arrived, but his girlfriend, the female ninja Erica, and vampire hunter Eric.

"What's going on? I heard from that pudgy fellow that you guys found Iron Man?" Eric, his hand on the hilt of the long sword on his back, walked forward with a surprised look on his face. "Oh my God, it's really Stark. What happened?"

Erica looked serious. She approached Nightingale and said, "Let's get back first and take Stark with us. We can't continue to stay here, we need to leave quickly."

"Wait a minute." Speedball suddenly spoke out, looking at Wanda. "Miss, could you please restore the street, just as we planned before?"

Wanda, who was having a quiet conversation with Jarvis, seemed to remember something, "Oh, right. I almost forgot.", she said.

She then rose into the air again. Ribbons of red power, radiating a soft glow, spread like a storm, restoring everything to its original state under their unified force. The pedestrians who had just escaped stood dumbfounded. Upon arriving at the scene, Officer Juliette, having seen the street as if it were brand new, broke out into a knowing smile.

About ten or so minutes later, the group drove to Matt's base located in Hell's Kitchen. It wasn't the tiny dark cabin it was before, but rather, a training base converted from a salvaged vehicle recycling plant.

Here, young heroes like Treasure Woman Jessica, who originated from Hell's Kitchen and the Brooklyn slums, were trained under Matt's guidance. Moreover, Matt had brought his teacher, Stick, here. Matt was mainly responsible for training them in combat skills and tactics, while Stick taught them how to achieve peace of mind through meditation.

Xu Shang-Chi had heard of Daredevil Matt, knew as if he was a character in Marvel comics, but knew almost nothing about him. The man in front of him was dressed in a suit, holding a briefcase in his hand and even wearing glasses. His eyes were somewhat listless, but that didn't affect his usual functioning.

Upon seeing the new young heroes, Matt enthusiastically gestured for them to join him, saying, "Come here, sit over here."

The junkyard had two buildings. One was converted into an indoor training area, the other as a common living area. Matt was currently sitting on a sofa in the guest area of the ground floor of the living area with an old man pouring tea on the single seater next to him.

As everyone walked over, they could smell the rich aroma of tea. Xu Shang-Chi swallowed hard, he preferred traditional Chinese tea, a far more appealing prospect than the American coffee, not unlike Chinese medicine, available everywhere here.

As if reading Xu Shang-Chi's thoughts, the old man waved him over amongst the crowd, asking in English with a slight accent, "Are you an Asian, kid? Chinese or Japanese?"

"I am from China." Xu Shang-Chi replied, surprised when the old man responded in fluent Chinese, "Come sit down, join me for some tea."

The young heroes all went over, and Erica who had just walked in behind them said, "I sent the unidentified Iron Man to Old Pete. He checked him over and concluded that he just has minor internal injuries and is exhausted. He should be fine after a period of rest."

Riley breathed a sigh of relief. Matt sipped his tea and said, "I know you all have many questions. Don't worry, I've already called the Kamar-Taj New York Temple. All extraterrestrial guests will have to go through Earth's magical defense network. Soon, we will find out where this mysterious Iron Man comes from."

"For now, I think we need to discuss the clue you found while investigating the protest."

"Oh, right!" Speedball exclaimed, while Jarvis was already holding a projector. He clicked a button and a screen of light appeared, displaying the mysterious symbol they had previously discovered on the exploded body.

As soon as the symbol was shown, the old man drinking tea narrowed his eyes. Xu Shang-Chi, sitting next to him, instantly felt a murderous aura and involuntarily moved to the side.

But quickly, the old man regained his usual composure. He put down his tea, stared at the symbol, and said in a deep, distant voice, "The Ten Commandments Gang Lord... He is finally here."
