Chapter 1667 - Chapter 1129: Father and Son (Forty-Nine)_1

The shock on Conqueror Kang's face froze as the cosmic stars started to rotate in reverse like a backwards clock, forming a dizzying whirlpool. The whirlpool dissipated, revealing the face of Helen, who had just parted from Loki.

After Loki had briefly whispered something to her, he went to the prison cell. Mobius promptly ushered Helen into the nearest office, before going to dissuade Loki.

As a result, no one noticed that Helen, who had already scoured the office, skillfully ran to the office window. She opened the window, swung onto the balcony, and jumped down, entering an office on the floor below where she crouched beside the window, covertly peering inside.

Spying Ravona turn away, Helen gave an appreciative smile. She then swiftly climbed inside through the window, and in a locked drawer of the Chief Judge, she discovered a Time Controller.

After confirming that there was no one around, Helen spat out a few parts she had swallowed earlier. She opened the lid of the Reactor on her chest, pulled out two wires, and connected them to the Time Controller, proceeding to tinker with the device.

Though Helen couldn't manipulate the unique attributes of this magical tool, she could bypass the security systems and ensure that she wouldn't be detected when she activated the Time Controller.

By the time Conqueror Kang arrived at the prison door, Helen had already used the sabotaged Time Controller to negotiate through Universe Space, returning to Earth where Shiller was.

As soon as she landed, Helen sprinted at her fastest speed towards the Arkham Sanatorium, where Shiller was located. She skillfully weaved through the crowds, nearly knocking over the nurses and doctors, as she made her way through the outpatient and inpatient departments, finally reaching the main office building.

Afterwards, she raced post-haste into Shiller's room, where he was still asleep.

As soon as Helen charged into Shiller's room, she gave a full-out sprint followed by a big jump, landing directly on Shiller's bed. She started bouncing as if on a trampoline, hopping up and down more than six hundred times in two minutes.

Shiller, who had just woken up and was stumbling around in confusion, could not even focus his eyes on the blurred figure that was Helen. He took off his sleep cap and rubbed his eyes, asking, "Am I dreaming?"

"Doctor Shiller! Doctor Shiller! Wake up, Doctor Shiller!! Wake up!! Quick, quick, quick!! It's of urgent importance!! Wake up!!!"

Helen was hopping and yelling at the same time. Shiller stared blankly for a moment until he finally was able to catch sight of Helen's figure, responding in a daze. "Helen? What's going on?... Did the helicopter engine arrive?"

"What engine!" Finally stopping her bouncing, Helen stood at the foot of the bed, extending her arms and gesticulating wildly. She shouted at Shiller, "Time Management Bureau… so many Time Controllers! So many Infinity Gems! And so many people! Wake up, Doctor Shiller! If you're late, you'll miss out!!!"

"What… what is the Time Management Bureau?" Shiller's brain was still offline, but some part of Helen's message got through, and with that tiny bit of clarity, he focused on Helen. "…Many gems, where are the many gems?"

"In the Time Management Bureau!" Helen jumped onto the bedpost next to her. Raising one hand high, she said, "The warehouse there has this many Infinity Gems, like a mountain!"

Then, energetically spreading her arms wide, she shared, "And so many machines that all control time."

"And many, many Lokis! And many, many diligent and dedicated employees working overtime, all without the need for a salary!!!!"

This sparked Shiller into full consciousness. He looked at Helen and asked, "Employees who don't require salaries?!! Where are they?! Any plans to switch jobs soon?!"

"No need to switch! Originally, their boss was locked outside this universe and couldn't come back. But suddenly, he did. Wake up, Doctor Shiller! If you're late, the easy catch will fly away!"

Shiller instantly threw off the covers and moved to change his clothes in the wardrobe. Meanwhile, Helen "thump-thump-thumped" her way to the door, while rapidly explaining to Shiller about Loki's plight in the Time Management Bureau.

Shiller came out of the wardrobe after changing, bent over to pick up Helen, then said, "So, this is all because of Conqueror Kang? Alright, let me think about how to rescue the Time Management Bureau from the evil grasp of Conqueror Kang…"

"The Time Management Bureau workers said, Conqueror Kang is quite formidable. He can infinitely revert time, and can travel through timelines." Helen exaggeratedly said.

But the next second, she was walloped on the head by Shiller who asked, "Loki had you tell me this, didn't he? Did he mention how much he wants to split earnings?"

Clutching her head and wailing, Helen then revealed a slightly embarrassed smile and said, "He's not asking for much, he just wants a few Infinity gems. I also want a few, they'll look nice as a necklace."

"Forget it, even if you swallowed an Infinity Gem, you won't gain the power of the gem. It's the physical embodiment of cosmic rules, and you can't duplicate its abilities." Shiller shook his head and said.
