Chapter 1582 - Chapter 1064 Shocking the World (41)_2

"Then return to the present and use the Reality Gem's ability to turn thoughts into reality to fix it."

"Wait, Venom once possessed Tony, why couldn't he directly repair Jarvis?" Eddie raised an objection, but before the others could respond, Venom spoke in his mind:

"Are you an idiot? If I could figure out what was going on, wouldn't I have jumped out and shown them our smart brains and mocked them for being fools?"

"I wasn't the first to step forward, which means, Jarvis's condition is beyond my capabilities. Saying that he is an intelligent Butler is not quite accurate anymore. He is a life form between electronic life and humans... I only inherited a portion of the abilities, and your brain capacity is limited, I can't fix it."

Strange sighed and said, "As I've already said, because of humanity's high-speed development during this period, Jarvis has undertaken tasks that should not have been assigned to an intelligent Butler. After several iterations and updates, he now far exceeds the scope of an intelligent Butler."

"Aside from Stark, who is also constantly updating his knowledge and technology, I fear that even if past Stark came here, he might not be able to do anything. Venom is a case in point."

The others exchanged glances, finding that Shiller's proposed method was indeed the best one available at the moment.

Although returning to the past timeline, they would only be observers, not participating in anything, just acquiring knowledge. Then, use the Reality Gem in the present to carry out the repair, which could minimize the chance of disturbing the timeline.

But the problem now was who would do it?

Everyone turned their gaze towards Shiller, but Shiller shook his head and said, "If you give the gems to me, you can kiss them goodbye. Thanks for the Christmas gift."

Strange snatched back the gem at once, and Thor's gaze again fell on him, but Strange shook his head and said, "I'm still a human by nature. Even with the protection of magic energy, I wouldn't be able to endure frequent, intensive and prolonged travel, let alone having to acquire a large amount of knowledge during the journey."

"The fragile souls of humans mean that they don't have enough capacity to control time, keep the timeline stable, and concentrate on learning knowledge, before their life form is elevated. Perhaps the Ancient One could do it, but I can't. I am still a novice magician."

At that moment, Thor noticed the intense gaze cast at him from his side. He turned his head to see Loki's eyes gleaming at him.

"Don't even think about it! If you possess the ability to jump timelines, you will surely cause big trouble!" Thor said firmly to Loki, "Don't think I don't know that you've always wanted to steal the gem and play with it."

"Listen, Loki, the timeline is a very dangerous thing. A slight carelessness could cause you to fall into a time loop. It's not your toy. Absolutely not!" Thor spoke with unquestionable certainty.

As he saw the light in Loki's eyes gradually fade, Thor turned his head away, feeling a pang of regret. But just then, Strange cleared his throat and said, "It isn't totally a bad idea to let Loki try. The problem is, even though he is known as the God of Mischief, does he have the brains to learn Stark's technology?"

Loki gawked at Strange, about to retort, when Shiller added, "Usually, the reason human scientific technology can be applied so widely is due to its universal principles which anyone can learn."

"What differentiates Stark from other scientists is his creativity in prioritizing science. It is difficult to have the same creativity as his, but if you want to reproduce, you can't get away from the basic science of humankind."

"Even some high school students can do basic computer programming. As long as you concentrate on learning, there should be nothing that cannot be learned. Not to mention your teacher is Stark, and you will have countless opportunities to repeat the learning."

"However, I am still a bit worried, after all, you Asgardians live by your martial prowess, and your learning abilities really concern me..."

Loki clenched his fists, and Strange continued Shiller's words, "Moreover, Loki is famously the God of Mischief. If he goes back and fails to learn, he could excuse himself by saying he was up to other things with the Time Gem. Then we would not be able to verify, wouldn't that be a waste of time?"

With a "bang", Loki punched the wall. He brushed back his black hair, gritted his teeth and said, "Just learning the technique Stark used to create Jarvis? What could be so hard about that?"

After saying this, he took the Time Gem from Strange's hand and "poof", he disappeared.

Less than a second later, he appeared again in the same place. He flicked his hair back and said, "Wait a second, I need to calm down. What did I just see? What did Tony Stark do with a computer?!!!"

With a "poof" he disappeared again, and after a brief flicker, he was back. This time he paused for two seconds on the spot, then vanished again.
