Chapter 128 - Chapter 88 Mud and Rotten People (Part 3)_2

The other people were in total chaos, but soon, several helicopters managed to catch up with Venom's racing figure.

Venom was leaping swiftly on top of the buildings, so much so that even the gunfire from the helicopters could barely hit him.

It wasn't until he reached an empty area on the suburbs that Venom stopped, lifting a rock and hurling it at one of the helicopters. The unlucky machine was hit right in the propeller and smoked as it crashed down.

The other helicopter had run out of bullets and could only hover at a distance, not daring to approach.

Before long, the armed forces arrived at the scene. Venom's pursuit, and the struggle between Stark and him for control of their shared body, had slowed down their escape. Stark struggled to suppress the overly excited Venom using sheer willpower.

Eventually, Venom sobered up a bit and fused back into Stark's body. Stark returned to his normal self. However, what he faced now was a besieging armed force.

Seeing Stark revert to his regular self, their commander did not let their guard down. A few warriors, clad in somewhat special armors, walked over.

Stark noticed that they were wearing mechas, old and outdated ones created using the technology he had provided to the military in the past.

Stark, on his part, pulled out a cigarette. A dazzling new armor quickly assembled around him. He made a mocking gesture and said, "The old junk you stole from me might make better hand-me-downs for your grandpas! It's still better than a walking stick, right?"

About a dozen mecha-clad warriors came forward. The leader, looking around, extended his arm and said, "Battlesuit!"

Then Stark saw a layer of jelly-like film emerge from the bottom of the mecha, covering its surface in an instant. It sealed all the gaps in the mecha and transformed it into a single, fully integrated green biological battlesuit.

This infuriated Stark instantly.

"You dare use Osborn Group's stupid tactic to insult my masterpiece!!!!!"

Stark had never been angrier. Even when the military used their influence to smear his name and play the good guys themselves, he had never felt this enraged.

Ultimately, Stark was most proud of his various inventions created with his genius intellect. Now, these military jokers had the audacity to take his mecha and give it to the Osborn Group for modification!

They even smeared a glob of sticky glue all over it, turning his beautiful mecha into an incredibly ugly biological battlesuit!!

Stark was seriously about to explode.

He took a deep breath and asked in his mind, "Do you really know how to operate a mecha?"

"Certainly better than they do."

"Well okay then..."

Stark stretched out his arm, covered in his metal armor, and said, "Battlesuit!"

In an instant, black slime covered his entire body.

Unlike those sticky and soft jelly materials, the black slime acted like a powerful net, enveloping every part of the battlesuit.

The nanosuit was not engulfed by the slime, but instead was systematically dismantled by it, reshaping into a new form covering the surface of the black monster.

Already nearly three meters tall, Venom had now become an iron monster over four meters tall.

This was a creature fully covered in a black mecha, and it seemed Venom had inherited Stark's aesthetic. His body was no longer uneven and made of viscose tissue, but a streamlined black armor covering his body.

The head was no longer the giant mouth filled with sharp teeth but had turned into a helmet with two spikes on either side, and a diamond-shaped iron visor in the middle, with a mask covering the lower face.

Not to say, this mecha looked extremely cool. It had the same size as Venom's original form but even larger. The shoulders, legs, and wrists were adorned with spikes made of black slime intertwined with metal. The mask on his face resembled a gas mask, giving it a sort of terrifyingly beautiful aesthetic that was a mix of metallic and punk charm.

More importantly, the one controlling this mecha was the symbiont that shared a mental connection with Stark. This meant Stark no longer had to operate it himself but could control the mecha intuitively.

As he shook his arm, Stark reveled in this magnificent feeling. He could distinctly feel the sensation of air against each outer component of the suit. This was more than a mecha-maniac like him could ask for.

He was the Battlesuit, the Battlesuit was him.

"Okay," said Stark, "I will show you folks what a true biological battle armor is!"

The moment he finished speaking, Stark took off from his pose and with a "whoosh" crash-landed amidst those bio-mecha warriors, his fist impacting the head of one of them.

The bio-mecha warrior was sent flying instantly. Stark shook his fist with a bit of surprise.

He was no fighter, and had previously relied on the calculated maneuvers of Jarvis for combat. But now, he felt a refreshing sensation of physically beating down the enemies himself. Needless to say, it was a good feeling.

The giant black mecha turned around and delivered an uppercut. Against this behemoth, the two-meter tall bio-mecha warriors were nothing more than chicks, sent flying with just a single hit.

Initially, these bio-mechas were created to counter Stark's Iron Armor, not a four-meter tall bio-mecha monster.

The biological slime intended to restrain Stark's movements, the echo positioning to track the flight path of the Iron Armor, and the flexible bio-gel joint modifications for improved agility were all useless against the Venom Armor. Venom Armor resisted slime expulsion, dismissed echo positioning as ineffectual, and the flexible bio-gel joints completely disintegrated under the weight of its fists.

Adding to that, Venom Armor's fighting style was vastly different from Stark's. To put it plainly, Venom juggled straightforward power punches. However, it was the symbiote's freakishly strong physical condition coupled with its super-fast self-healing ability that gave it an advantage in such chaotic fights.

In no time, Stark had knocked down that group of bio-mecha warriors.

Soon after, the military brought in heavy artillery. The Venom Armor made a leap, hopping onto a nearby high-rise and started running like mad again.

Once they had shaken off their pursuers, Venom instantly retracted back into Stark. The nano armor once again covered Stark's body. He looked at his unharmed arms and the still new metallic armor on them, and said,

"Not bad at all, thanks, slime."

"You're welcome, trash."
