Chapter 1059 - Chapter 717 U: Infinite Major Event (36)_1

Meanwhile, Captain Universe Spider-Man and Amazing Spider-Man were hot on the tail of Solus. They had figured out Solus's intention to hunt the injured, so naturally they were doing everything they could to stop him.

However, Solus's method of traversing the multiverse was clearly more advanced than the Spider-Men's. They had only pursued him through two universes before completely losing track of him, and they couldn't even sense Solus's presence anymore.

"This isn't working. Solus will definitely find the injured before we do. We can't beat him by merely chasing him, we need to find stronger, more effective help!" said the Amazing Spider-Man in a serious tone.

"First of all, we need to find Solus's traces, but you're right, we need backup. Let's do this: I'll take the other Spider-Men to track down Solus, and you'll go find the fortunate kid we met before, his abilities will certainly come in handy." Captain Universe Spider-Man thought for a moment and said.

Amazing Spider-Man sighed, nodded his head. Even though it wasn't the wisest option to split their forces, it was the only choice they had under the circumstances.

So, Captain Universe Spider-Man took the other Spider-Men to find Solus, and Amazing Spider-Man went alone to Peter's universe to seek help.

Amazing Spider-Man's transmitter had recorded the parameters of the universe where Peter resided. However, it was set to a future timeline. Now that Amazing Spider-Man did not have the ability to see the future, he arrived in the present universe after activating the transmitter.

With a flash of the transmitter, Amazing Spider-Man appeared in the said universe. He confirmed that he had landed in the Solar System, but he was puzzled. This solar system didn't seem quite the same as he had imagined.

Normally, the cosmos would be void of anything. Even a system as insignificant as the Solar System would seem incredibly vast for individual beings like humans. Amazing Spider-Man, having traveled in this dark, vacant space for some time, had gotten used to it.

But now, the universe he had landed in was surprisingly bustling.

Spider-Man turned to the left and saw a string of strange-looking robots leaving Earth and heading towards the Sun. He then turned his head to the right and saw a large ship, looking like an aircraft carrier, flying over from around the Earth.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" A female voice suddenly came from behind him. Amazing Spider-Man turned his head and saw a green-haired girl staring at him.

"Oh, I came to find someone. Where is the Spider-Man of your universe?" Amazing Spider-Man asked. He had a vague impression of this green-haired girl, who seemed to be a mutant, but he didn't remember her name.

"Peter, what kind of a game are you playing? Aren't you Spider-Man?" The green-haired mutant woman looked at Amazing Spider-Man and said.

With his mouth agape, Amazing Spider-Man looked at the girl across from him in disbelief. Do all Spider-Men in this universe use their real names? How does everyone know that Spider-Man is Peter Parker?

"Today is not April Fool's Day, and you better not try to fool me. If your lab didn't need samples from the surface of Mercury for the soil analysis experiment, why would I come here? What happened to you? Are you suffering from amnesia?"

"I'm sorry, miss, I'm not the Spider-Man from your universe..." Amazing Spider-Man struggled to explain. Although he could have made up a lie to fool her, he preferred telling the truth.

Before he finished speaking, the girl opposite to him waved her hand, and in an instant, Peter found himself flying out as well, but he didn't feel any pain. It seemed to be a sort of teleportation technique.

Soon, he found himself on the surface of Earth. Just as he was about to speak, the girl tugged him into a school. In no time, Peter found himself before Charles, who pushed his glasses up and said, "Lorna, you should be more polite, after all, guests have come from afar..."

"Who knows who he is? Didn't you tell me to bring anyone suspicious here?" Polaris Lorna pointed at Spider Man and said, "He claims to be Spider-Man from another universe, I think he's talking nonsense..."

"Indeed, he is Spider-Man from another universe, and he is also Peter Parker. Come here, Peter, why are you here?"

"We've encountered some trouble and need someone's help! I can find the Spider-Man of this world as a witness, we've met before!" The Amazing Spider-Man hastily explained, then he anxiously continued, "The situation is dire now, if we delay, many will be sacrificed, I hope to act as soon as possible..."

"Oh, I'm sorry, professor, I'm late, really sorry..." At this moment, the office door was opened, and Amazing Spider-Man turned around to see a silhouette appearing at the door.

He was wearing a green striped shirt, a blue-purple suit on the outside, and a weird tie around his neck. The tie was black with a bunch of strange yellow patterns on it, making people a bit dizzy.

Looking at this person's face, The Amazing Spider-Man was surprised to find that it was Shiller! It seemed that this was one of the Shillers who had escaped.

This Shiller walked up to Charles, apologizing, "I'm sorry, professor, I'm late, where's the child in need of psychological counseling? I'll go right now..."

Charles shifted his gaze away from The Amazing Spider-Man and turned to Shiller, saying, "Oh, it's not a big deal, Doctor Shiller. A young boy who could control fire accidentally burned a classmate. Thankfully his classmate had self-healing powers, so his injury is already healed. However, he is feeling guilty and can't get out of it. He needs you to guide him. How about I take you there..."

"Wait a minute! Professor! I'm really in a hurry! I need to find Peter, can you help me find him? Just tell me his location!" The Amazing Spider-Man intercepts Charles who was about to leave.

"Alright, let me see..." Charles paused slightly before saying, "Oh, he is at Kamar-Taj, though it seems he is very busy. Do you want to go there?"

"Yes, I have urgent business with him..." The Amazing Spider-Man said with a furrowed brow.

Charles signaled to Polaris, who grabbed The Amazing Spider-Man and using the Earth's magnetic field, quickly flew him to the Himalayan Mountains and dropped him off at the front entrance to Kamar-Taj.

As soon as he arrived at Kamar-Taj, The Amazing Spider-Man was stunned by the sight before him.

At the entrance of the Grand Hall, a Shiller in a hooded cloak with feathers on his shoulders was drinking with Stark. A Shiller dressed in wizard's robes was researching magic wands with Strange. An elderly Shiller with white hair and a cane in his hand was discussing boxing with The Ancient One. Another elderly Shiller with grey short hair was reprimanding Peter while holding a pufferfish.

Standing at the entrance of the hall, The Amazing Spider-Man took a step back, looked up at the sign of Kamar-Taj, making sure he hadn't come to the wrong place.

He silently walked in and then patted Peter's shoulder, saying, "Hey, Peter, I need to talk to you. What's going on?"

Depressed, Peter glanced at the Amazing Spiderman, frantically making a hush gesture at him, but by then, Daddy Shiller had already set his sights on him, saying, "Are you also Peter Parker? Don't you know to respect the elderly..."

"I know! But I really have urgent matters now!"

"Don't argue with Daddy!"

Half an hour later, the dejected Amazing Spiderman sat on the ground, he looked up at Peter, saying, "Why is he so talkative?"

"How would I know?" Peter also lowered his voice.

"There's one more thing…" Daddy Shiller started.

"Wait a minute!" The Amazing Spiderman finally couldn't stand it anymore. He stood up and shouted, "The Successor Family's Solus is catching up with the wounded members of the Spider-Man Troop! They're in danger, Spider-Man, you need to come with me to rescue them!"

Before Peter could answer, Daddy Shiller said first: "What did you say? Someone wants to bully the wounded?"

"This is an act of injustice." The old wizard, Shiller, walked over, struck the ground with his magic wand and said.

On the other side, Shiller in a cloak also stood up, seemingly wanting to listen to what was happening. Surrounded by so many Shillers, the Amazing Spiderman immediately felt immense pressure.

He took a few steps back and said, "Here's the thing..."

By the time he finished speaking, the several Shillers exchanged glances. Daddy Shiller was the first to say, "Apart from respecting the elderly, we must also care for children...he can't bully injured children, or else Daddy will show him what's what!"

Daddy Shiller imitated a kung fu gesture, the oldest, white-haired Shiller said, "If Spider-Man is an Army of Justice maintaining peace in the universe, then, I should help them in times of crisis..."

Stark, from the back, rolled his eyes, nudged Strange's shoulder, and said, "This is a great opportunity to get the Shillers out of this universe. Find those Shillers, inform them and let them help Spider-Man..."

"The problem is, how can we find those Shillers??" Strange frowned and said in a low voice: "Who knows where they're hiding??"

Stark rubbed his chin in thought and said, "I have an excellent idea to lure the Shillers..."

"What is it?"

Stark smiled, seemingly very proud of his idea.

Half an hour later, outside the ward of Arkham Sanatorium, a throng of Shillers was lining up, with a continuous buzz of discussion in the crowd:

"I heard Stark's anxiety has worsened..."

"Steve's medication must have some issues!"

"How did Peter fall ill too? Where's his previous medical history? Let me see..."

"Natasha? Yeah, being an agent does take a toll on mental health..."

"Stephen Strange? He doesn't have a medical record, I'll do it! I'm really good at figuring out difficult cases!"

"And this one, this person doesn't have a name? Amazing Spiderman? What sort of name is that? I heard he has paranoia, I am very experienced with it!"

"Out of the way! It's my turn! I'm the main doctor!"

"Stop pushing! Stop pushing! Get in line, everybody gets a patient. No need to rush!"

"I've been standing in line for 20 minutes, let me go in first!"

"Let me in quickly, what if they get better? I'm a psychiatrist!"

"Where are the patients? Where are the patients? Those in front, can you slow down? What if you cure them all, where would I find more patients?!"

In the ward, Strange, who was lying in bed and receiving Shillers in turns, gave Stark a thumbs up.

Meanwhile, the Amazing Spiderman slumped over the table, with his two hundredth set of psychological test papers beside him...
