"What? You're saying we should take care of the three people from S.H.I.E.L.D first? If there are also three in there, doesn't that make six in total?!" Stark slapped his forehead, then heard Nick say from across the line, in a strict tone:
"You don't know how much trouble he has caused at S.H.I.E.L.D! He fabricated financial statements, irregularly transferred employees, and participated in illegal human experiments... Most importantly, he has no morals!"
"I can't think of vile enough words to describe him, heroes of The Avengers, it's your duty to take him down. Get over here and take him away!"
After hanging up the phone, Stark said with a heavy tone, "Just as I thought, there are three more in S.H.I.E.L.D. That is to say, in the upcoming battle, we will have to face six Shillers in total."
"Now the question is, does each Shiller have unique abilities?" Steve posed a question, then said, "If each Shiller can turn into a gray mist, we're in trouble."
"Stop talking about it, I'm already starting to get a headache." Matt sighed and said, "If each one can turn into gray mist, we can't possibly catch him. Who can catch a cloud of fog?"
"Anyway, we have to find him and ask first. If we can solve the problem peacefully, that would be the best option. If we have to use force…" Stark trailed off, then said to Jarvis, "Prepare vacuum cleaners, all types of vacuum cleaners!"
Hearing that Stark had a method to restrain Shiller, everyone breathed a sigh of relief, but they quickly realized that things weren't as simple as they thought.
Just as The Avengers were preparing to investigate the situation at Arkham Sanatorium together, Peter paused, then turned to look at Stark and said, "Just now, Spider Silk contacted me through the spider's web, the Spider-Men have also received assignments to apprehend Shiller across the entire multiverse..."
"What Spider Silk? What multiverse?" Stark looked him up and down and said, "Peter, have you been staying up late playing video games again? Now you're starting to talk nonsense."
Peter was stunned for a moment, then he remembered the Stark he had met in the future. He had completely forgotten about his trip to the multiverse, so it was possible that he didn't know about it now either.
Since Peter had travelled to the future timeline earlier than the others, he didn't witness the universe's reset firsthand, so he wasn't aware that due to the reset, Stark had been restored to his state before all the events took place, thus lacking the memory of it.
Peter had to spend a long time explaining to Stark what was going on, and then heard Stark reply, "We're going to apprehend Shiller just to figure out what's going on, and to ensure that so many different Shillers won't pose a threat to the world."
"But those Spider-Men you mentioned, under some eternal order to apprehend Shiller, are probably out to kill him. I don't agree with letting them into our universe."
Steve joined in, "We want to solve the chaos Shiller caused, or prevent any future trouble he may cause. Everyone knows that too many Shillers could cause a catastrophe if any of them lose control. But we do not intend to eliminate him."
"If the Spider-Men from other universes are misled and want to kill Shiller, it would be trouble. Not to mention whether they can do it, what if they agitate Shiller and a fight breaks out? Wouldn't Earth suffer in the end?"
"That's why I need to go." Said Peter resolutely. "If they dare hurt Doctor Schiller, I'll be the first to stop them."
Stark and Steve huddled together, staring at Peter. Stark whispered, "Sounds like this multiverse is a dangerous place. Can he really handle it by just going over there?"
"I doubt it. After all, he's just started university. What about your suits? And Steven's magic, Demon God Covenant, Symbiont, let him take more. Even if he doesn't use it, it would be good to have just in case..."
Stark strongly nodded in agreement. He then snapped his fingers, saying, "Come here, kid, go back to Stark Building with me. Without being fully prepared, you won't step out the door..."
"No! Wait a minute! Mr. Stark...I already have it, I mean, I've prepared a lot already, there's really no need to..."
Ten minutes later, Peter, glowing all over, appeared at the Spider-Men's base. As soon as he landed, he attracted everyone's attention, because he really did look like a glowing light bulb.
Peter sighed heavily; The Amazing Spider-Man stepped forward, patted his shoulder and said, "Back to recharge again? Looks like you brought more stuff, just what we need..."
"Don't mention it." Said Peter, a bit annoyed. Then he looked into the crowd and saw a familiar figure. It was Dr. Octavius Parker.
"You see him there, right?" The Amazing Spider-Man gestured with his chin towards him and said, "He has changed, more like Peter Parker now. I told you before, there was an imposter pretending to be him. You didn't believe me then, now it looks like they've switched back."
"But where did the previous Superior Spider-Man go?" Peter asked with some confusion. In his intuition, although the Superior Spider-Man was a bit too violent, he wasn't a bad guy. If he disappeared, Peter felt it would be a pity.
