Chapter 1023 - Chapter 692 U: Infinity Major Event (11)_2

"But I have to go back!" Peter's voice was on the verge of breaking. The thought of the impending tragedies happening around him left him unable to maintain his sanity.

He knew that Doctor Schiller was strong, different from ordinary people, but what if?...

Peter didn't know if he could prevent the tragedy, but he knew he had to tell Doctor Schiller about this.

So, he went back to the Amazing Spiderman. Spider Gwen and the Amazing Spiderman had no choice but to say to Spider Silk, "Why don't you send him back first? We still haven't found the enemy's traces. Letting him return first won't make a difference..."

Spider Silk nodded, and just as she was about to send Peter back to his original universe, a flash of light shone in the center of the hall. Dr. Octavius Parker led the other Spider-Men quickly over.

Parker said to the Amazing Spiderman, "Our people have located a member of the Successor Family. He seems to have just unleashed a power—the traces are very obvious. Now, the real war is about to begin."

The Amazing Spiderman glanced at Parker, then at Peter. He had to prioritise the impending war. After all, all previous encounters between the Spider-Men and the Successor Family had shown them not be an easily defeated foe. If they didn't give it their all, it was very likely they would be completely destroyed.

Just as Peter was about to say something, Parker coldly said, "Oh, I forgot, we have one who wants to go home here. Send him first."

The Amazing Spiderman hesitated for a moment, but then said to Peter, "Peter, I know you are anxious, but the war is about to break out. We need your strength."

"If the Successor Family is not eliminated, there will never be peace for the Spider-Men. Your power is indeed strong and could be our best trump card against Solus..."

Peter seemed to be in a daze and didn't answer right away. His symbiote, Venom, was not worried about Schiller, so he just said, "Let's set off."

The Amazing Spiderman didn't say anything. He just patted Peter's shoulder and said, "Don't worry, Spider-Man, you still have us."

After all the Spider-Men had prepared, Spider Silk prepared to teleport them. Teleporting so many Spider-Men at once wasn't realistic, so they divided into two teams—one with the Amazing Spiderman and the other with Parker. Peter joined Parker's team.

Thanks to the tactical acumen of Venom, it was clear that his fighting style was better suited to this team. Superior Spider-Man's team was also set to be the primary attack force in the upcoming battle.

In fact, his judgment was spot-on. The Amazing Spiderman led the initial reconnaissance team. After they were teleported by Spider Silk, she sent the location to Superior Spiderman. Parker then used the transmitter to teleport all the other Spider-Men at once.

Parker's squad was teleported to a small satellite near a giant planet. Not all Spider-Men could survive in space, so as soon as Parker landed, he began to establish a temporary camp.

Soon, the camp was set up. The Amazing Spiderman's team also returned here. Each of them was radiating light, with fine energy lines connecting to a Spiderman in a blue uniform in the team.

"This is Captain Universe Spider-Man. He was busy earlier, so he arrived a bit late. But Spider Silk contacted him earlier," the Amazing Spiderman introduced. "His power can assist us in space battles. However, he can't connect with too many people. About twenty Spider-Men is the limit."

"Next, the enemies we will be facing might be very strong, so only the most combat-capable Spider-Men can participate in the direct offensive. Whoever wants to participate can volunteer. If there are too many, we will pick the strongest..."

Just as the Amazing Spiderman finished speaking, many Spider-Men gathered around. There were more than twenty people, so the Amazing Spiderman and Parker started selecting the combat team.

Of course, Peter would be included; his power had been proven before. After about half an hour of selection, they finally decided on the 25 team members to be sent into battle.

The Amazing Spiderman, Superior Spider-Man, Captain Universe, Spider Gwen, amongst others were on the deployment list. Spider Silk was not included though, as her support abilities were deemed more critical.

"According to my senses, the Successor Family's aura should be in this cosmos, right about now. I will transport you all there. Once we reach the edge of the battlefield, we'll discuss the combat mission." Captain Universe Spider-Man said.

The other Spider-Men had no objections. Shortly, Captain Universe's body began to radiate an array of star-like lights; in an instant, all Spider-Men vanished.

Reappearing, they found themselves floating next to a planet. Then, a battlefield scene far beyond their imagination unfolded in front of their eyes.

In the battlefield's center, their most familiar entity, Solus, had transformed into an immense image, even larger than the neighboring star. Next to him, a spiky monster as enormous as Solus, roared towards him.

Near the star, a ripple of magical brilliance began to spread. A female figure arrived here; not far from her, a small dark spot surrounded by a magnetic storm that seemed on the brink of devouring the planet.

The Amazing Spiderman gulped and said: "Is this a war that we can participate in? It seems a bit…"

At that moment, the battle had already begun. An energy storm swept through the cosmos. Captain Universe Spider-Man shouted, "Dodge quickly!"

"We should take advantage of this to attack Solus!" Spider Gwen, dodging and shouting, said: "Everyone else is attacking him, which is beneficial for us. This is a golden opportunity!"

Dr. Octavius Parker said nothing, just flew straight towards Solus, relying on Captain Universe's energy.

Seeing this, the other Spider-Men understood this was not the time to retreat. The Spider-Man squad quickly flew to the edge of the battlefield, but there were very few places where they could land. Most unprotected planets had already been shattered, and the stars also seemed on their last breaths.

Captain Universe Spider-Man needed to conserve his energy for the primary attack. If all Spider-Men were to float in space like that, it would be too much drain on his energy. Thus, they planned to land on the closest planet.

The only planet in sight, from the outside, was full of craters. But the Spider-Men had no more options.

They flew together near the planet, but when they were close to the planet surface, they discovered that the planet's surface was not made of rocks, but composed of numerous bizarre living organisms' secretions.

A voice echoed in Peter's body: "Isn't this Klinter Star? Why are you guys near my home???"

The Amazing Spiderman also noticed this strange situation. Just as he was about to turn and flee, countless symbionts tackled him and dragged all the Spider-Men into the planet.

In the center of the Klinter Star, beyond a cage made of layers of symbiont lifeforms and surrounding emptiness, a transmitter gate opened. Doctor Schiller walked out from it, and then said,

"Gray mist, wake up. You are home."
