Chapter 1013 - Chapter 685 U: Infinity Big Event (Part 4) _1

At the entrance of Stark Building, Pepper was holding Helen in one arm and a bag in the other. She handed Helen over to Sif and instructed, "Helen is not an ordinary human child, so she should be able to eat the things from Asgard. However, she doesn't like fruits similar to apples much, but she likes to drink orange juice…"

"Oh, and don't let her ingest too much sugar, it's unhealthy. Make sure she reads a lot and doesn't start fights. Oh my, she really likes fighting, it's infuriating..." Pepper handed the bag in her hand to Sif as well, which contained Helen's daily necessities.

Lately, Sif had been practicing her swordsmanship in the surrounding dimensions, which was rather tiring. So when she heard Frigga wanted to take Helen to Asgard, she volunteered, hoping to clear her mind.

Although Helen and Loki looked alike, Sif loved children and always wanted a daughter. Helen satisfied her fantasy. She reached out her hand, touching Helen's head, imagining the two of them picking fresh flowers to make wreaths in the forest of Asgard, playing in the water by the fountain, and telling stories by the campfire...

The light of the Rainbow Bridge flickered, and Sif and Helen disappeared, returning to Asgard. Sif took Helen to see Frigga first.

Frigga took Helen on a tour of her bedroom, which was where Loki lived when he was young. As the second prince of Asgard and Frigga's favorite son, his former residence remained opulent even after all these years.

The polished smooth floor tiles were covered with fluffy carpets, and bed frame boasted a primitive Viking style, held up by thick logs that supported a dark green canopy.

To Helen, the bed was a little too big. Concerned that Helen would be scared on her first night, Frigga planned to sleep with her. However, Odin suddenly needed to see Frigga, so Sif stayed behind to tell Helen bedtime stories and put her to sleep.

Previously, Helen had been very quiet. But perhaps because she had consumed a member of the Successor Family and inherited their vampire traits, she became much more active once it got dark.

"So, the brave Asgardian warrior defeated the Giant Dragon, decapitated it, and mounted its head on the ship's helm, turning its scales into armor, and sailed off towards the next adventure..."

Sif was holding a storybook, telling Helen the story in a gentle voice. Helen propped up her head, blinked, and sighed. Sif asked, "What's wrong? Don't you like this story?"

Helen looked at her with wide eyes and said, "Rather than hearing about a warrior killing a Dragon, I'd prefer to kill one myself."

Looking at Helen's face, Sif sighed, "You really are unlike your mother...uh, father...uh, perhaps mother, you are really different from her..."

Propping up her face with her hand and looking at the pattern on the blanket, Helen seemed a bit bored. Sif told her a story for a while then put her to bed.

But Helen couldn't fall asleep. Looking at the bright moonlight outside the room, Helen widened her eyes, looked around to make sure no one was watching her, then nimbly jumped onto the window frame and flipped onto the balcony outside the window.

Just as she was about to use her magic power to fly, she realized that this wasn't Earth and all Asgardians were naturally magical.

The moment she used her magic power here, the guards would sense it. Even if she could dodge the guards, she might not escape the notice of Frigga or Sif. If that happened, her chances of slipping away were slim.

With these thoughts, Helen gripped the balcony railing, poked her head forward to look down, and found that underneath the balcony was a very tall tree. The top of the tree was level with the ground of the balcony.

Under the bright moonlight, tall coniferous trees surrounded the Fairy Palace. Asgard, being a part of the Nordic civilization, had a special affection for coniferous forests. The trees here were well cared for and very robust, their needles, illuminated by the moonlight, gave off a faint blue-green glow.

Suddenly, the trees close to the palace wall rustled, startling a bird into flight.

Then, many tall trees started to shake. From distant to near, with a "bang," Helen jumped down from the outermost tree, brushed off her hands, not minding the leaves in her hair.

After emerging from the forest behind the Fairy Palace, turning left led to the training field, and right to the fountain garden. Walking through the fountain garden brought her to the library. Helen hesitated for a second and then decisively headed towards the training field.

On the way to the Fairy Palace, Helen saw various types of Asgardian weapons. She wanted to go to the training field, wondering if she could find a weapon she might like as she hadn't found one to her liking yet.

However, when she arrived at the training field, she discovered a figure sitting on the steps next to it. Helen hid behind the wall, peeked out and looked at the figure.

It was Sif, who had a longsword by her side. As she sat on the steps, she reached behind her, gathered up her long hair, and braided it.

A faint white mist emanated from her, showing she had just been exercising. Looking at the scattered dummies in the center of the training field, it was clear that Sif was staying up late to practice.

Helen sighed, realizing that her plan might not come to fruition, she turned around and stealthily left. She thought she had successfully escaped, then she heard Sif say:

"Are you awake?"

Helen froze mid-stride, raising one foot up, she slowly turned around. She was about to speak when she realized that Sif was radiating a purple glow, but her gaze wasn't directed towards her. It seemed like she was talking to herself.

Quietly, Helen moved to the side of the wall and poked her head out to listen to what Sif was saying.

"...Indeed, it's been a long time, maybe you should go home and see. How about this, I will go to Earth again tomorrow, you can find a new host. Speaking of which, where are your companions? Are they not coming to pick you up?"

Just as Sif finished asking that question, a different voice came from her mouth, "Thank you, Sif, I was very happy during our time together. You are the strongest, most gentle host I've encountered…"

It was also a woman's voice, but different from Sif's. When she spoke, the purple glow on Sif's body kept blinking.

Helen furrowed her brows, observing attentively, she realized that the purple glow was familiar -- it was like the symbiote she had seen on Peter before.

"The Cosmic Special Agents are currently in a difficult situation. Civilizations near the Andromeda Galaxy are all hostile to us. The power that besieged Clint Star last time seems to have stimulated Nal. He has become increasingly active, and no one knows when he will break free," this symbiote expressed with a hint of worry. Sif, however, comforted it,

"Symbiote Phantom, don't worry too much. If really something goes wrong, I will help you."

After having heard this, Helen, who was hiding behind the wall, seemed to have come up with a plan.

The next day, before Sif was about to activate the Rainbow Bridge to head to Earth, Helen had been clinging to her. With no other choice, Sif brought Helen along, and together, they returned to Earth.

The purpose of Sif's visit this time was to find a new host for the Symbiote Phantom in her body. Since the last time she was injured by The Destroyer who was manipulated by Loki, and the Symbiote Phantom symbiotically merged with her to save her, it had always been with Sif. Sif and the Symbiote Phantom had been practicing martial arts together and a deep friendship was established.

However, a few days ago, the Phantom revealed that it wanted to return to its mother star Klinta for a visit. But Sif, as the Valkyrie of Asgard, was on duty and could not leave freely. Without any transfer she couldn't go to the Andromeda Galaxy, they had no choice but to part ways.

After arriving on Earth, the Phantom left Sif's body. Compared to other symbiotes, it had an advantage -- it was highly flexible and agile. Even without a host, it could fly. Its mobility was much higher than other symbiotes. Therefore, it didn't just find any random host to stick with, but instead planned to find the nurse it had attached to before.

After its departure, Helen suggested taking Sif shopping on Earth. Recently, Sif had been stuck in a bottleneck of her power progress, and she was anxious. She just wanted to relax. Hence, she brought Helen to a street next to Time Square, planning to stroll around.

As expected, since Spider Man was not in New York and his absence as a good neighbor was felt, they hadn't walked around much when they heard gunshot sounds. Tracing the direction of the sound, there was a robbery happening at a jewelry store at the end of the street.

Of course, Sif would not just turn a blind eye. She looked around and saw a quiet coffee shop nearby. She led Helen in and sat her down, saying, "Wait here, don't wee off. I'll be back in a jiffy!"

Helen obediently nodded. The moment Sif dashed out, she jumped off the chair. Although her legs were short, she wasn't slow, and quickly disappeared into the crowd.

Finding an unoccupied spot, Helen gently sniffed. Capturing a scent in the air, she transformed into light and swept across the New York sky.

Suddenly, she stopped in mid-air, looking down. Not far from the New York Elderly Association Hospital, in a narrow alley, a mass of purple slime was crawling up the wall.

Helen dived straight down to stop on the wall, looking down at the slime. The purple slime stopped suddenly and for a split second, it hurriedly began to retreat.

However, Helen didn't give it a chance to escape. She flashed over and held it down with her hand.

Of course, the symbiote wouldn't be trapped by one hand. Just as the Phantom was considering this, it found that the small hand held a terrifying suction force. Something was devouring its symbiotic factor and she couldn't counteract.

With a "whoop", all the symbiotic factors were absorbed by Helen. The Phantom thought she was being devoured, and was about to scream horribly when she found that she didn't seem to be in danger of life, but had symbiotically attached to Helen just like before with the host.

The Phantom projected an emotion of confusion, but Helen spoke to her with an extraordinarily innocent tone, "Seeing Peter has a symbiote named... Red Bee? I thought it was fun, so I wanted to have one too. What's your name?"

"My name is Phantom, but little girl, according to the rules of the Cosmic Special Agents, we cannot attach ourselves to minors, even if you're from the Aesir Clan, it's not OK. Attaching before the body is fully developed might bring massive strain with high speeds..."

"Eh?! ... How can you fly??? No no no! Slow down! You're overspeeding! Stop now!!! Ahhhhhhhhh!!"
