Chapter 11 - CHAPTER - 11 - THE WINE

The walk back to the room felt lighter after the success of the opening party.

"I'm happy everything went smoothly," I said, relieved.

Ma'am smiled warmly. "Yes, thank you, Cia

"Always a pleasure, Ma'am," I replied, a soft smile playing on my lips.

Suddenly, Ma'am's topic changed. "By the way, Cia, do you like wine?

"Wine? The question surprised me. "Yes, I do," I admitted.

"Good! Then after you freshen up, come to my room. I got a nice wine today" Ma'am said casually

My heart skipped a beat. "What?" I stammered, caught off guard.

Ma'am, unfazed, reached into her purse and pulled out a key. "Here," she said, handing it to me. "You can directly come inside."

She dropped me off in front of my room and continued walking, leaving me with the key and a whirlwind of confusion.

Standing there, the key heavy in my palm, I replayed the moment in my head.

What just happened now? Did she just hand me her key and invite me?

Am I dreaming?

I pinched my cheek – ow, it definitely wasn't a dream.

No no..think calmly. This is Ma'am we are talking about, I'm sure she didn't mean anything by this yes...yes..

I tried to reassure myself, nodding along to my own words as if trying to convince a skeptical audience – me. But it seems the little bit of sanity that I had clearly said goodbye and left me. And the other mischievous side of me won't listen to me.

A part of my mind couldn't help but paint a picture - Ma'am waiting for me on her bed and welcoming me.

.

.

.

My cheeks flushed at the image, and I quickly shook my head to clear it. This was crazy.

What the hell am I thinking now??? I scolded myself, slapping my cheeks lightly. "Stop overthinking and freshen up. It was a long day."

After a refreshing shower and a change into comfortable clothes, the weight of the key in my hand felt heavier. Taking a deep breath, I approached Ma'am's room. A knock, then another.

[Knock...Knock]

"Ma'am, it's Cia," I announced after no answer.

Silence. Hesitantly, I turned the knob.

"Huh? There's no one here?" I muttered

Suddenly, a soft click from behind startled me. I spun around And there was Ma'am surrounded by thick steam from her shower.

"Oho Cia, you came ", Ma'am stood by the bathroom doorway, her bath rope wrapped loosely around her figure.

I Turned my face around

A flush crept up my neck. "Y-yes," I stammered,

"Give me a minute, let me dry my hair," Ma'am said with a smile."Yes, please take your time," I mumbled, cursing myself for coming so early.

I should have come 10 minutes later…idiot Cia

After ma'am dried her hair, She gestured towards a small table by the window, offering a breathtaking view of the night ocean. The full moon cast a shimmering path across the water, creating a scene straight out of a romantic movie. However, the beauty of the scene did little to ease the turmoil within me.

Ma'am uncorked the bottle of wine, her movements light and casual. "Umm, Ma'am?" I blurted out, unable to hold back any longer.

"Yes?" she looked at me

"Won't you… change?" I stammered, my gaze darting nervously around the room.

Ma'am tilted her head, her expression curious. "Hmm, no, why do you ask?"

My cheeks burned. "No, it's just…"

Ma'am shrugged. "I don't usually like to wear many clothes when I am in my room and like you have seen I don't like to wear clothes when I sleep too. So this is comfortable for me"

"Oh, okay," I mumbled,

But I am not. Dammit..where am I supposed to look? I can't look directly at her face or her...my eyes gaze directed down from her beautiful face to her collarbone and further down to her cleavage...It feels like that rope can easily slip from her body...it's tied so fucking loose!

No no…get a grip or else the devil knows what I'll imagine again..I scolded myself internally

Ma'am slid the wine glass towards me. "Here," she said.

Taking a tentative sip, I savored the flavor. "Mmm, this is a nice wine," I commented.

Ma'am smiled. "Yes, the flavor is really smooth, isn't it? Goes down the throat easily."

"Do you like wine, Ma'am?" I inquired.

"You could say I love it," she admitted. "Rin and I make a habit of trying different wines at different places, always searching for the perfect taste. So both of us are a lover of wine."

Suddenly, a lightbulb went off in my head. That explained Miss Rin's delighted expression when she saw the wine bottle earlier, and the enjoyment Ma'am seemed to be getting from it now.

"What about you, Cia?" Ma'am turned the question to me.

"Me? I definitely enjoy wine, but I wouldn't say I'm as passionate as you or Miss Rin."

Ma'am chuckled. "Well, as long as you enjoy it enough for us to share evenings like this, that's all that matters."

"Gladly, Ma'am," I said with a smile.

The conversation flowed easily, filled with lighthearted topics like our off days and my sister's. The wine itself, however, was a different story. Smooth and potent, it crept through my veins, and a gentle wave of intoxication began to wash over me.

I made a mental note to slow down – this was definitely one of those moments where knowing my limits was crucial. I should stop now.

"I think I should probably head back to my room, Ma'am," I mumbled, the room starting to feel a little too spinny for comfort. "It's getting late, and you should get some rest too."

Ma'am's gaze sharpened with concern. "Sure, let me walk you back."

"No, no, it's right next door," I protested, my voice wobbling a little. "I can make it."

She studied me for a moment, a knowing smile playing on her lips. "It's okay, it's my duty to look after you. Besides," she added, "you can hardly stand, I can see that you have reached your limit, isn't it?"

Flustered, I mumbled a confirmation. "Ha, yes… then, please."

How on earth did she know I was so intoxicated? Even after all those glasses, she seemed completely unaffected. How much can she drink??"

Ma'am reached out, gently placing her arm around my shoulder for support. Her other hand found my waist, guiding me towards the door. "Come on, let's get you back to your room."

"Thank you, Ma'am," I slurred, leaning gratefully into her touch.

The short walk to my room felt like an eternity. She smelled so good! The fresh sweet smell of her soap and shampoo was like another intoxicating medicine to me.

Ma'am helped me inside, the familiar space seeming to tilt slightly. "Here you go," she said, maneuvering me towards the bed.

The moment she let go, my legs gave way. A yelp escaped my lips as I pitched forward. Everything happened in slow motion. I squeezed my eyes shut, bracing for impact.

"Heyyy…look outt…"

But instead of sharp pain, I felt a soft cushion. When I cautiously peeked open one eye, my jaw dropped. I was sprawled across the bed, Ma'am was on top of me, her arms instinctively wrapped around me to prevent a nasty fall.

"You okay?" she asked, a hint of concern lacing her voice."Yeah," I croaked, still processing the situation."Thank goodness. You scared me half to death for a second."

Ma'am let out a relieved sigh as she relaxed, the tension leaving her shoulders. For me, however, danger lurked. Despite desperately trying to control myself, the potent wine had taken hold.

Ma'am, still looking at me with concern, didn't move from her position. Our bodies were close, and through the loose gap in her robe, I glimpsed her curves. Her breath tickled my cheek, sending shivers down my spine.

Before I knew it, My gaze drifted to her lips. Just how lustrous can her lips be and those breasts of her...Is she seducing me or what??"

The urge to kiss her became an overwhelming tide, and before I could fully comprehend my actions, my arms instinctively wrapped around her neck, pulling her closer. A flicker of surprise crossed her face before she regained her composure. My breath hitched, and with a growing sense of desperation, I closed my eyes and leaned in further with my lips a little parted.
