I remove the ring and I feel the little I could perceive of my soul slowly fade away, whatever, I'll practice more at my dorm.
Annoyingly, as I am getting up I can feel a stupid glare from an equally stupid woman, why can't this damned idiot get over the fact that life is hard, just deal with it woman! Find another boy toy or something, you are a marquess's first daughter after all. It probably wouldn't be that hard.
Anyhow, I walk out and think on what is next on my to-do list, and promptly sigh because I remember that I have to deal with the dimwits. Whatever, you have to do what you have to do.
I start heading to the damned spot which is still like an hour's walk away. Finally making it there I see the dimwit trio, well let's get this over with. I walk up to them, mentally block out everything they're saying, and go into the fetal position, because I have found this position to be the most comfortable while being beaten up.
I lay on the ground being bombarded with their pathetic blows and their even worse insults that they probably created whilst not listening to their instructors. I have learned to mostly tune everything out whilst this is happening, so I don't get mad and teach these idiots a lesson, most of the time I only snap out of it after the dimwits leave.
So it is a surprise for me to see that after snapping out of it the dimwits are still here, not only are they still here they're talking to someone, looking at that someone my vision briefly turns all red before I calm myself down.
Who the hell does this damned harlot think she is, following me around like she thinks she deserves to know what I get up to in my free time, how dare that stalker, truly how dare her, she should be thankful to whatever silly little gods this world has that I haven't gotten angry enough to have bashed her face in with a rock yet.
When she sees me get up she runs past the dimwits straight in front of me. She slowly puts one of her hands on my cheek whilst saying, "Oh Jeldard, what did they do to you?", whilst I was standing there shaking with pure anger, I mean not only did she stalk me and follow me she dared to lay her common filthy disgusting hands on my pretty face?! How dare her!
She turns to the dimwits and yells, "Have you no shame! You are nobles act like it! How long has this been going on? It's clearly breaking the academy's rules!"
"Oh come on lady Keswick, surely you aren't defending this filthy bastard, are you? Although I do remember you two being quite close a while back, shame I thought you saw the light of our pure blood and left this disgusting creature behind, but I suppose I was wrong," dimwit number two says while smiling.
I chime in with a sad tone, "No you're wrong, she doesn't mean it, she just feels a bit bad for me, it was probably a spur-of-the-moment decision, right lady Keswick?". I gave her one last chance, one last chance to prove that there are more than two neurons up in that empty cranium she calls a head.
And she failed, "No! Don't talk about yourself like that, you are a man Jeldard act like one. You were right yesterday, I shouldn't have left you behind, just because everything seemed hard didn't mean I had to take the coward's way out by leaving my best friend behind. And I will be more dedicated to our friendship this time. Jeldard I want you to know that I am sorry." I suppress the urge to punch this woman in the face.
Well, I should probably forgive her, because that's what Ustos would probably do, damn it I really thought I had this utter dimwit off my back.
"You're not the only one that needs to apologize, I shouldn't have gotten that mad yesterday, and judged you for your choices, I am also sorry," I force out barely managing to hold on.
After hearing what I said she smiles at me and gives me a hug, and I almost gave her head a 360-degree spin.
Whilst she is hugging me dimwit number two says, "You're making a mistake lady Keswick associating yourself with a disgusting bastard, I will spread the word and you will be shunned by everyone around you."
Apparently, I held a little hope that she would see her stupidity but unfortunately no. "It doesn't matter, all of you nobles are all the same judging only by blood, not heart.".
