Chapter 7 - SunnyDale Island

The villagers' day took an unexpected turn when a colossal shadow loomed underwater, heralding the arrival of a humanoid figure dragging a massive tiger shark—the unmistakable sign of a Sea king. Nervous expressions etched across their faces as the towering man, nearly 4.5 meters tall, revealed himself, effortlessly hauling the enormous sea king with a conspicuous hole around its head.

In the midst of the villagers' surprise, the imposing figure, our MC, had found an island. Seeking information, he offered the villagers a gift— a shark— and in return, requested a newspaper. As he perused through the headlines, it dawned on him that this wasn't the pirate era, but rather an era brimming with formidable powerhouses.

The villagers' initial fear turned to outright shock as the giant man erupted into laughter, a sound that resonated to the core. In his mind, the MC reveled in the realization that powerful adversaries were as abundant as blades of grass in this era. However, a cautious note was struck—avoiding the Marines would be crucial, especially with notorious figures like Rocks D. Xebec making their mark.

In gratitude for the newspaper, the MC offered the villagers a year's supply of meat. The initial fear waned, and the villagers cautiously approached, curious about the enigmatic giant. Their interactions led to an agreement for the MC to stay in the village, a boon for the villagers in case of pirate attacks.

A day later, having helped the villagers and now seeking a place of his own, the MC ventured into the forest. With Haki-infused knuckles, he felled a massive tree effortlessly. The villagers, initially curious, soon grasped his intent as he gestured toward a house. Building proved challenging, yet the MC completed his makeshift abode, planning to stay temporarily while he sought formidable opponents.

True to his instincts, a pirate ship approached the island. The villagers, agitated, sought the MC's assistance. Responding with a resounding yes, the giant man kicked off the ground, landing on the shore with a mighty thud.

Facing off against the pirates, the MC's agile moves left the invaders struggling to land a punch. The pirate, eager to end the fight, coated his fists with armament, but a peculiar, iron-like fist from the MC sent him reeling. In a series of grueling battles, the pirate sensed a breakthrough, unlocking both armament and observation Haki. To his surprise, he encountered a young, tall man wielding similar armament, the color of iron, toppling him with punches that felt like iron bricks, leaving his Haki weakened and will exhausted. The indomitable Will of the MC proved a force to be reckoned with in the face of would-be invaders.
