Chapter 236 - Marks on the dead bodies

"What took you so long? I sent the message one hour ago," Tianna asked as soon as Delilah entered the royal palace to help her with the promised chemistry project. 

Remembering what kept her busy, Delilah didn't comment and just smiled.

"I fell asleep," she added when she thought Tianna might cook something weird in her mind and that she needed her on her side until she discovered the entire truth. 

Tianna was about to say how it was pretty peculiar of her to sleep at that time of the day when someone beat her to it.

"Sleeping at this time. Are you feeling well?" It was Prince Elwin's voice.

Delilah looked at the prince briefly, bowing to him in respect.

"I am fine. Thank you for your concern, Prince Elwin," Delilah said before she nodded at Tianna, signaling that they should go.

Tianna looked at her future fiance and bowed to him.
