"What's going on here?" Alex looked at his alpha who looked nothing less than a servant of Delilah with all that burden on his shoulders.
"Here, let me help carry that, Alpha," Alex stepped ahead, but Kristian shook his head.
"It's not that heavy," He said as they finally reached their destination.
Katherine, who was busy writing the final name of the herb in her notebook that she checked, marking all the ones they needed to look for and then adding the ones she took, especially writing where she got them from and how much distance just to ensure she could come and find them easily again if she needed in the future, looked up when Alpha Kristian walked to her.
"Are we done with all the herbs?" Kristian asked, his presence so close that Katherine could almost feel his hot breath on her ears as he stood beside her and leaned to look into her notebook.
