"You are quite late. Now sit down," Alpha Marvin hushed Delilah as soon as she reached the lecture, and she nodded before quickly sitting in the empty seat beside him.
The professor, who had glared at her earlier for interrupting his class, immediately pressed his lips into a thin line when he saw her sitting with Alpha Marvin, and a sigh escaped Delilah's lips.
"Thank you," She whispered, and the man just nodded while they heard what the professor was teaching them about the new language in programming.
"So? Why are you late?" Alpha Marvin asked.
"Because of Nickolas. He stopped me at the gates to invite me to bike racing. What could I do? He wasn't letting me go," Delilah hushed, unable to see Alpha Marvin's expression that turned grim when he heard her words.
