John was heading towards the city on his vehicle, suddenly he felt like there was something... something strange dragging him towards another direction.
He then decided to follow that strange sensation that's been dragging him, on his way he saw some people taking a cow's dead body to a vehicle. He felt it was a bad omen.
After following the invisible force which was dragging him for quite some time, he finally stopped in front of an old house.
At first glance he figured out that it was an abandoned house, there is an unexplainable eerie feeling to that said house.
He got out of his vehicle and looked at that house. He walked towards it to take a closer look, and suddenly something touched his shoulder. He was startled and looked back.
It was an elderly man, he looked like a giant. That man's face were covered in some wrinkles and he looked at John and asked.
" Boy! Who are you? And what are you doing at this house? I don't quite remember seeing your face in this area. "
John smiled and took out a card from his pants pocket. The oldman didn't understand what it was but he knew that John was an apprentice priest and exorcist.
John asked the oldman about that house, he said.
" My name is Ben, I'm the one who takes care of this house. The people who lived here were farmers, those guys came from distant lands to find a job. Exactly two years, only that long they lived in this house, Almost... almost everyone in their family died on a single night. And the cops find their bodies from the well behind the house. After that the owner sold the farm and nearby lands. He even tried to sell the house but before that he was also murdered by some evil forces. After the family came here the farm became so great even the owner became happy. He gave them more money than they deserved and the family was so grateful to him. But after their death, even the owner becomes sick. Then he died mysteriously. It all happened years ago. Now it feels like a nightmare."
John sensed the fear in Ben's voice, Ben was sweating as he said that to John.
John was also shocked after hearing this story, he looked at the house. It's not unbelievable to think of a house like this as a haunted house.
But some questions formed in John's mind, How did they all die in a single night? Did they commit suicide? Or somebody killed them?
Who killed them? What was the killer's objective for something like this?
If the bodies were found in the well, then why is everyone calling this house haunted?
John then remembered something he asked Ben,
" You said that almost all of them died that night, right? "
Ben looked at John's face and said,
" Yes, almost all of them were dead except...."
Ben paused for a second, John knew that something was up and he asked.
" What is it? Why did you stop suddenly? Who is the survivor? "
Ben started to sweat even more, his face became pale as if he saw a ghost.
John,
" Sir! You don't need to worry. I will help you as much as I can. I need to know what I'm dealing with. "
Ben,
" Th....the one who su....Sur... survived was a small girl from the family. "
Suddenly John asked,
" A small girl? How old was she? Where is she now? "
John kept asking questions to Ben, but Ben hesitated to say the answer to it.
Ben said,
" She was a bright kid, but her whole family got murdered. That day some people and the owner saw that little girl running away from the well where the dead bodies were found. They believed she was possessed."
John knew that it's not a simple case, so he decided to investigate around the house.
" Sir you can go back, I need to take a look into the house. "
Ben,
" No! Don't go, this place is haunted if you go in alone something might happen to you. "
John smiled and said,
" Don't worry sir, you know I'm an exorcist right? So it's my duty to guard civilians from ghosts and investigate the unnatural occurrence. "
After saying that John walked in to that houses compound, Ben was helpless the only thing he could do was to pray.
" Oh great lord! Please have mercy on this young man and give your divine protection to him. "
Ben prayed for the safety of John, at that time John was already at the front door.
As he stared at that door, he felt that something was interfering with him.
It was like an invisible wall, but it couldn't last long; its attempt was futile.
Now John knows that there is something ominous inside the house, so he walks through the garden and gets behind the house.
John looked around to find that well, he saw an old well covered in vines and moss on a corner.
He walked towards that well, suddenly some crows started to cry, the crowing was intense. He felt like their crowing was pierced into his head.
He covered his ears and walked close to the well, after that he took a look inside of it.
It was dark inside it, he couldn't see anything. Then he took out his mobile phone and turned on its flash.
Light from his phone illuminated the well, now he can see the depths of the well. Within seconds he realized something was different. He knew that the flashlight of a phone won't reach that far but it was like the well itself is showing him everything. He looked into it but he couldn't find anything noteworthy.
The water was pretty low, he could almost see the bottom. It was like a maddy put inside it.
" If Nat was here I could have asked her for help, but I told her to stay with Ichi? To look after him. It was a bad time. She always comes with me no matter what I do. "
He thought to himself.
At that time Natasha was playing with Ichi, she was having fun for a long time.
Ichi was eating the berries that John gave him earlier that day, and the milk on the plate was almost finished.
Ichi looked at Natasha, and saw a worried expression on her face.
Ichi softly shrieked to get her attention, it was worried about Natasha.
Natasha looked at ichi and sighed,
"Are you worried about me little ichi? "
After saying that Natasha faintly smiled.
Ichi made a faint noise and came close to her, then it looked on her face.
Natasha then began to talk,
" It's been quite some time since John left, isn't it already time that he came back? Why is he being so late? "
She was worried about John, she was unaware of the situation that john has been in.
Back at the abandoned so-called haunted house, John continued to investigate the ominous surroundings.
He didn't get any answer from the well either, it was like something or someone was blocking the answers that he was seeking.
John decided to get into the house, he tried to open the door, it was fully damaged so he barely managed to open it. When he walked into it Ben watched him from a distance. Some neighbors came to the place and asked Ben about what's happening there. He told them everything. One of them knew about John and started talking big about him.
They waited around there for some minutes and then they got bored and left. Even Ben walked away from there.
John was checking the house inch by inch. It was torn but still he had to find something. He didn't even find a single photo of anyone from the family. But all their things were still in that house. It was like everyone was afraid to get inside the house to remove it. He didn't even find the photo of the owner of the farm.
The cat watched him closely. It hid itself from him and simply watched him. John found a basement in the hall. But he didn't see how he could open it. He thought about Natasha again.
He wandered inside and then walked out. He looked at the sky, it was still looking like the sun was too depressing to come out. He looked around and a wind started blowing. John walked to the side and stood beside the house like he was enjoying the view.
Suddenly he felt like someone was staring at him. He looked at the side and saw a woman watching him from the back of the house. She was standing there hiding behind the house. The wind increased its speed and power.
Without John realizing it he started glowing. He didn't drink the holy water or he wasn't concentrating. It happened automatically. His eye colors also changed. One became blue and the other became green. He looked at the woman and suddenly some dirt went into his blue eyes and he closed it. He tried to remove it but it didn't come out.
She started running. John realized that and looked at her with green eyes. He saw a green aura surrounding her. Just like he saw on the black and white fur cat...
