Chapter 47 - Chapter 47 For the Girls of Los Angeles

"I've waited a long time for now!"

Shaking the knife in her hand, Carey Mulligan walked slowly forward, "After I sensed your intentions, I thought I should give assholes like you some punishment, and Murphy has scripted the best way to do it."

The left side of her mouth quirked up, her doll face as cute as ever, the words coming out cold and raw, "The opportunity finally arrived, the crew went on vacation, most of them went back to L.A., my agent Bill Rossis accompanied Uncle Julian out of town, the governess had to leave on some business, and Murphy went for a walk in town with a headache."

She stepped closer and closer, "How could I pass up such a great opportunity when we're the only two left here?"

Despite trusting Carey Mulligan not to do anything confusing, the bright knife put a certain amount of pressure on James Franco, a fine bead of sweat spreading across his forehead.

"James, I'm not going to do anything to you."

Those words brought an involuntary sigh of relief to James Franco, but Carey Mulligan added, "I'll only follow the first part of Murphy's script."

"Are you out of your fucking mind?" James Franco finally couldn't help but explode.

He was the male lead and had read the script countless times, of course he remembered that Jeff was castrated by Haley in the first part, if he himself did the same, what was the difference between living and dying?

James Franco stared intently at the approaching Carey Mulligan, all seriousness above that cute baby face, nothing like a prank joke.

"Carey, have you thought about the consequences?" He shouted.

Carey Mulligan nudged his mouth in disinterest and gestured twice with his knife, "I'm all about doing it and then thinking about it."

Three feet, two feet, one foot ...

The men were getting closer and closer, the knife was getting closer and closer, James Franco kept struggling and shouting, but it was all to no avail.

"Sorry, James." Carey Mulligan stopped in front of James Franco, reached out with her empty hand, gently patted his handsome face, and said with immense seriousness, "You're just going to have to make some sacrifices for the sake of the underage girls of Los Angeles."

She said this with righteousness, as if she was an angel descending from heaven to punish evil.

Looking at Carey Mulligan and James Franco, Murphy knew that he couldn't continue to watch the drama, although there was confidence that Carey Mulligan was just scaring James Franco a little, but the mind of a girl of this age group is anyone's guess, in case James Franco said something unpleasant, Carey Mulligan impulsively ...

He came out from the corner and coughed hard, and James Franco, as if hearing heavenly music, immediately turned his head to look over.

Before James Franco had a chance to speak, Murphy looked over in surprise and asked, "Jim, Kerry, are you guys rehearsing here?"

Hearing Murphy's words, Carey Mulligan immediately closed the knife in her hand, viciously glared at James Franco, and turned back with a sweet and lovely smile, "I've never been able to grasp Haley's transformed personality and mindset, James is helping me get a feel for it."

James Franco was just about to retort, but Murphy crossed his thumbs and quickly said, "Jim, your dedication is so admirable."

"Yeah!" Carey Mulligan interjected, "Jim is a good actor and has helped me a lot."

Hearing the question and answer between these two, James Franco simply didn't know what to say.

"What brings you back?" Carey Mulligan's side had changed the subject, "Is the headache any better?"

"Better." Murphy said to Carey Mulligan as he walked behind James Franco's chair and untied the rope's death knots, "I came back on the spur of the moment when I thought I had work to do."

With that, he gently tapped James Franco on the shoulder and turned towards the stairs, Carey Mulligan picked up his knife and gestured at James Franco, hurrying to follow.

Watching Murphy and Carey Mulligan walk up the stairs, James Franco untangled the rope that was wrapped around himself and threw it to the floor, freezing for a while, the expression on that handsome face with a gangly grin kept changing, and finally let out a long sigh.

Were all little girls so scary these days? He still wasn't sure if Carey Mulligan would do something or not if Murphy didn't show up.

James Franco couldn't help but look down and feel the fire in his soul begin to die.

Standing up and finding a tissue to wipe the tears and snot off his face, his eyes fell inside the open toolbox on the floor, saws, pliers, hammers, and knives were all there, the cold metallic light glowing off of them looked so harsh, it must not have been pleasant to have these things fall on him.

From this toolbox alone, James Franco can also guess that today's matter is by no means Kerry Mulligan's impromptu intention, must have been planning for some time.

In the face of such a girl he still want to continue? James Franco rubbed his shoulder, which was hurt by the pliers, and walked towards the outside of the house.

  "Murphy ..."

Upstairs in the room that served as the director's office, Carey Mulligan sat in front of his desk, "Did you ... you ... see it all."

"No ..." Murphy shook his head gently, "Only the back part where you throw James Franco to start."

"I can't believe he attacked you!" Carey Mulligan said angrily, "It's killing me that a scumbag like him would attack someone as nice as you."

She said hatefully, "He should have slashed him in the face a couple times!"

The corners of Murphy's mouth danced slightly as he said calmly, "Thank you, Kerry. It's nice to be defended."

Carey Mulligan's eyes curled up in a smile, "That's what I'm supposed to do, I just had to warn James Franco, don't think I don't know he's an asshole."

Murphy didn't say much, if it wasn't for his connivance and bystanders, this incident wouldn't have happened, but it was thought that James Franco would settle down for a while, which might not be bad for the crew.

As for Carey Mulligan, what this British girl did was clearly influenced by him, and the rebellious side of daring to think and act was just a little crazy.

Carey Mulligan suddenly asked with concern, "Is your headache really better?"

"It's fine." Murphy waved his hand, but Carey Mulligan stood up, "Do you need me to rub it for you? I used to help Uncle Julian when I was little."

"Thanks." Murphy shook his head gently, "Not for now, I have work to do."

Very different from facing James Franco, Carey Mulligan always looked well-behaved and cute in front of Murphy, waving her hand, "I'll go back to my room to do my homework, I won't disturb you."

The short day off ended quickly, the crew reassembled in the detached house to shoot on Sunday, perhaps what happened yesterday really played a role, James Franco was avoiding Carey Mulligan except for working hours.

After a period of adjustment, the rookie crew, led by Murphy, was finding some rapport and the efficiency of the shoot had improved.
