After the chants and the dancing, everything calmed down and Alpha Jed stepped out inside the circle.
He looked more at ease here…more wolf than military…I think we all were.
"Before we run as a pack, we must first of all establish a collective mind link" Alpha Jed said.
Everyone seemed intrigued with the concept as did I…though as a hybrid, I don't need one to survive but others do.
Without a link to one another, wolves go rabid and mad within days.
Everyone listened with rapt attention…everyone but me, I was focused on Hardy as my eyes wandered to him occasionally.
He didn't spare a glance at me.
"I didn't know Mind links were created…I thought it's something you are born into" Lucy said from where she sat.
The inquisition seemed to please Alpha Jed.
