Miracle POV
I watched jake ignored me and focused his attention on Cami.
"Well, Cami…are you coming or not? Lucy wants me to convince you" he waved at the girl Hardy was talking to earlier when the commander was addressing us and she smiled back at us. "And did I mention it would be fun?"
I knew even before she spoke to me about her decision.
"No one ever invites me to parties! This is awesome. Come with me"
I shook my head. She was going to get herself in trouble and I wasn't going to be party to it.
"I will see you later and if you change your mind, come join us"
"I won't"
I watched them leave and suddenly, I was standing alone in the huge hall.
I have never felt more alone in a room filled with people. It was the worst kind of loneliness. The type that makes one want to find a corner and fold themselves up till eternity.
It was weird that my only friends were a girl I met outside and a guy I met yesterday.
