It... It was all a dream, I woke up in my bed with a start, the images... they felt so real... "phew, thank God, that was horrifying, I wouldn't know what to do if that was real." I said aloud, I'm not normally religious but I truly was thankful it was only a nightmare. I got up from my bed and stretched, my body aching but I was quite used to that by now.
My body had always been incredibly frail, bones visible under my skin, and no muscle to speak of. At a height of 5'10 I only weighed 105 lbs. Although only 20 I felt like I was in my 60's whenever I got out of bed, bones creaking and aching as I get my body moving for the day.
