The two hopped off the Water Kings back and looked into the fog. It was thick and nothing could be seen before them. Carson stuck his hand in and watched as it disappeared before him.
"Tch just our luck, it's gonna be hard to see anything so keep your guard up and stay close. Not sure what we may run into in here, people rarely ever return. Got it?"
Camelot nodded in agreeance to Carson's orders. He gripped the hilt of his sword tightly as the he stepped into the fog behind Carson.
His vision became great constricted, he could see no more than 10 feet in front of him.
As he went deeper the healthy green trees of Emerald Forest became hollow husks devoid of life. They retained their height and stretched high above with hands lurking to grab them.
Camelot gripped his sword even harder as they continued forward. Carson laughed to himself seeing the young man's friegthened look. He left him be when a giant shadow passed over above them.
"Be on your guard, something just flew overhead." He readied his sword and used Weapon Enchamnent. The blue aura permeated the fog with a smal bright glow.
Camelot looked around with is guard up high and his sword in hand. Several minutes passed and nothing happened. They put their weapons away and continued walking.
They eventually strolled upon some broken ruins that looked centuries old. Some structures are complete destroyed beyond recognition whilst others where partially destroyed. There was a giant courtyard in the center.
They came upon a giant cathedral look building. It was rusted and broken beyond reality. The only think that surprising was undamaged was its large wooden door. The door was massive and have green bins along the bottoms as if it had taken root.
"Wow this door is pretty weird…it's almost like it's…alive." Camelot looked in awe as he placed his hand upon the door. A strange cooling energy entered his body.

"Sword Heart(Unique)(Passive) has been unlocked."

Sword Heart(Unique)(Passive)- Rank S: "A legendary skill from one of The Greats that makes skill holder one wth the sword. Skill allows great growth and proficiency when wielding a sword.Originated from Umbraxis Light, the Light Great, who was a master swords man. ONLY USABLE BY THOSE WITH THE BLOOD OF UMBRAXIS. UNIQUE SKILL UNABLE TO BE TAUGHT OR LEARNED."
The energy slowly faded from Camelot 's body as he removed his hand from the door. His heart was pounding heavily as he looked down at his trembling hands. Suddenly the green vines unlatched from the door and sunk into the ground out of sight.
Camelot calmed himself when he felt a hand grab his shoulder. He jumped slightly and turned around to see Carson which his pointer finger placed on his lips. He squated and started walking towards a broken wall of the cathedral. Camelot followed and when he reached Carson he was stopped.
"Don't say a word, I hear someone in the courtyard." Carson spoke in a harsh whisper before peering over the wall into the courtyard.
He saw five figures standing together looking at what looked to be a large mansion. Four of the people were in long purple cloaks with a strange sword symbol on the back.
"The plan went smoothly, sir. Everything was as the Master expected."
"You dimwit! Of of course it did, the Master's plans never fail. It just sucks that I had to lie and deceive Carson like i did. You know I actually was starting to like him a bit.
Playing his underling for two years really took a role on me, but that is now in the past. Now to look for Excal, the Master said it should be in these old ruins. Spread out and look for any clues for it. Now!"
The man in the middle wore bright silver armor with a private insignia on his chest. On the other side was the symbol of the Zil Guild.
He had a gruff voice along with a stocky stature and brown hair.
Carson turned back while his back slid down the wall, his face turn pale. His vision became wonky as his heart pounded in his chest. He breathed deep and gritted his teeth before slamming his fist on the ground.
Camelot looked at the man go through various emotions before he peeked over the wall himself. He saw the 4 men and Zil Guard talking. He was pulled back down by Carson whose eyes were full of anger.
Hydro mana started collecting his body rapidly and gave him a small blue aura. He realized what was happening and calmed himself while the aura vanished. He watched as they split up in different directions of the ruins.
"Listen kid this is where real training begins. They split up and we're going to pick them off one by one but first information. It looks like one of them is going out further than the others so we'll get him first and find out what we can." He spoke angry through his teeth.
Camelot said nothing but stood up and watched one of the purple wearing people go far out back towards a strangely intact library. He entered in and disappeared inside. He looked at Carson who gestured for him to lead the way.
They crept quietly up to a window and Camelot peered in. He saw the person in purple scanning through various books. Their back was turned to the door. Camelot quietly turned the knob and opened the door.
*creeeAaaaaaaak*
"Hey whose there?" The person in pulle turned around quickly to the door. They saw a large blonde man charging at them and racking them to the floor. They placed a hand over their mouth.
"Lock the door Camelot, we are going to need all the privacy we can get. At least until we information we can use." Carson looked deep into the eyes of his captive. It was a blue haired man with orange eyes.
Carson felt guilt but it quickly washed away as he pulled out a small dagger. He shoved the dagger slowly into the man's thigh as he squirmed from pain. He pulled it out in a quick fashion.
"mmmmpphhhhh"
"Shshshshshsh now, you better start talking because the next place this enters is going to be this…." He tapped the dagger on the man's knee as total fear consumed his face.
"Now who are you?"

Tru stood up and walked towards with his shoulder and head held low. He walked past Shadow who cast him a concerned look. It then went and climbed up to his shoulders.
Its master looked defeated so it tried to console him by rubbing his head.
"Thanks little guy but not much that can me right now, let's just go and get this drag fest started shall we?" His mood slightly improved from his magical beast gestures. He walked along the forest when he spotted an Orange Saber.
It conjured up several Rock Pillars behind Tru blocking his reread. It then pounced towards Tru its claws and fangs ready to sink in. It neared closer at fast speed when Shadow spring forward and used Shadow Fang. It sunk its teeth deep in the chest of the unsuspecting cat.
It fell over with a quiet thud unable to move as it eye'd Tru. The latter walked over and stabbed the Black Gauntlet deep within the wound Shadow had already gave it.

When Tru received the last message the Black Gauntlet suddenly started to drain his mana rapidly. He tried to stop it but it continued up until his mana was almost empty.
The Black Gauntlet glowed a bright red while all the color went into the pointer finger. It changed from a deep black to a ruby red. Tru looked at it with amazement.
"Just what the hell is this thing"
