Karyan's door creaked open, and Lady Victoria entered with a child.
The girl had wavy long pink hair that was falling down her back, faded blue eyes like the sky on a cloudy day, a small nose, cute chubby cheeks that begged for a pinch, and was dressed in a simple black dress.
Karyan, with a stern expression, spoke to Lady Victoria, "Don't worry, I will not poison your son this time."
Victoria remained silent, "I'm not worried," she simply replied.
"Okay, go now," Karyan instructed her to leave, "and return in an hour."
As Lady Victoria exited the room, the child stood there, looking around with wide eyes, clearly feeling scared and out of place.
Karyan approached her gently and said, "Hello there. Don't be afraid. I'm your old friend Karyan, and we're both the same age."
She was still feeling shy and unsure, glanced up at Karyan but remained quiet, not knowing how to respond.
