Uses of the Pure Essence
It was incredibly tricky to transform Pure Essences from the Essences of Elements. The Alchemists needed multiple attempts and wasted materials worth hundreds of Gold Leafs in the process of obtaining one Pure Essence.
This was the reason that each drop of Pure Essence of Darkness had cost Samar nearly 1200 Gold Leafs. He was expecting to pay a similar price or an even higher one when he heard the price charged by Alchemist Wikan for each attempt.
He had felt the pain of losing 425 Gold Leafs when the first attempt was wasted. The second attempt would've also cost another 425 Gold Leafs and he had intervened desperately.
Imagine his surprise when his desperate attempt had allowed the transformation to complete and a shiny crystal sat on the Earth Rune carved on the central saucer sized disc.
