"Why did that guy suddenly stop shooting arrows? Wasn't he going to build a ladder of arrows all the way up to here?"
The Black Bloods from the third platoon watching Samar and others stuck in the Ravine wondered when Samar stopped and climbed up the ladder himself.
They were alarmed when Samar took out something from his inventory and tightly held it in his clenched fists which began to glow soon after.
"Be ready to attack if he makes the slightest movement!" Ervan commanded, his nerves tingling with danger. All 30 members watched Samar carefully, spells prepared and bows ready.
Seconds ticked by but nothing actually happened. Samar's fists stopped glowing and the Archer himself returned to the ravine himself, puzzling the Black Bloods.
The other Black Bloods lowered their guards but Ervan could not help but feel something was wrong.
