Chapter 172 - Melee Vs Ranged

Doran's speed was much higher than what Samar had expected. Samar released Little Blighter, and quickly retreated, trying to aim a Frostbiter at his agile enemy. 

Samar quickly found that this opponent was very different from any other foe he had ever faced. For example, take the Silverback Primate he challenged just a few hours ago. 

The Mini Boss had large movements and very obvious attacks. It was easy to predict its movements and shoot arrows in its attack's path, ensuring they would not miss.

Doran, on the other hand, was in a completely different league. He moved like a ghost, zig-zagging his way towards Samar. The Cannibal Warblade's movements were precise and his evasive maneuvers effective in confusing the Archer. 

The Vedic Archer wasted precious few seconds to aim at his enemy, allowing the Saberelf to cross more than half the distance between two. Although the seconds were lost, Samar figured out his foe's pattern and found his aim.
