Usually, she would just ignore the calls, but seeing the names flashing on the screen, she had to put down the meat skewer and answer the call.

Marna greeted them, her tone casual, bordering on disrespect. Her lackadaisical attitude made Chief Commander Boarchop frown with displeasure.
"Your subordinates, Captain Ervan and Catnip, failed. Their platoon was also annihilated. That upstart team dared to threaten Scarlet Heart and tarnish the reputation of our Black Blood Division." After listing the crimes, Boarchop imperiously asked, "How are you going to punish this offense, Second Vice Commander Marna?"
