"Hehe, I'll keep ignoring you. What will you do about it?" Zain smirked.
"I can expose—"
"Oh, that? Good luck with finding someone who can see you."
Zain waved and turned around to leave.
Beatrix believed he was trying to negotiate. However, he left the warehouse without giving her another glance.
"What…?"
His reaction revealed two facts.
He knew what was happening to her and the type of people who could see were rare.
She quickly followed him.
"At least tell me why I am like this. I can't touch anything and no one can see me."
Her actions were carefully calculated. Pitiful voice, slight shivers, and a pleading look. She tried to invoke sympathy.
She believed she could persuade him after a few tries.
But he acted unexpectedly.
