✰ MEETING WITH THEIR DESTINY ✰

≈ PARTY ALL NIGHT ≈

The loud pop music erupting the club was enough to bring down the city of Dallas. The music went down to the soul and alcohols flew round the club.

Merry, excitement, pleasures were the happenings of the night. The dancers on the stage added lit to the party.

At a corner of club, far from everyone else. A place were people could just seat to feel the music rather than being in the crowd, sat the four friends.

"Cheers!" They clinked their glasses, before taking a sip from it.

"Whoa! What are we celebrating again?" Skylar asked, bringing up her glass.

"Jeslyn's new job and Keevah's wedding!" Krishi squealed and Keevah slapped her arm.

"Shut the f**k up!" She shot and they laughed.

Krishi began filling up their glasses.

"Just a little bit, I'm already feeling tipsy." Skylar said and Krishi nodded.

"I seriously can't believe you didn't show up on your own wedding." Jeslyn said, she looked a bit sober than the rest of them.

"We aren't bad friends for not persuading her to, right?" Skylar asked.

"If my mom's gonna kíll me for it, trust me I'm taking you all along." Keevah said and they laughed.

"I'm not coming along. Heaven knows I tried talking you into it. Love isn't really that bad." Krishi said pouting and they scoffed.

"Please don't say that again. Love? Such a joke." Keevah huffed, gulping down a shot.

"Not all men are the same. Take my Kayden for example." Krishi said and the three girls joined their forehead together.

"Should we tell her?" Skylar asked.

"No, someone who is in love is a fool, so it's pointless." Keevah said and Jeslyn nodded.

"She'll find out herself." She said and the three stared at her before disengaging.

"What are you three saying about me?" Krishi asked, pointing from one to the other, her hand shook and her eyes weary as she was already feeling tipsy.

"Who talked about you?" Keevah scoffed.

"Girls, I'll use the restroom." Skylar said, standing up.

"Alright, be back quick." Krishi said and she nodded staggering her way to the restroom.

"More drinks." Krishi said, filling up glasses.

"I'm going to work tomorrow, Krishi. I can't drink too much." Jeslyn said touching her forehead.

"Just a little bit more momma." Krishi pouted.

≈ RESTROOM ≈

Skylar walked into the male toilet - her movement was unsteady, as a result of how drunk she was, she didn't pay heed to the symbol which indicated that it was the gent's toilet.

She went in and did her business, when she was done. She came out, adjusting her skirt but she paused seeing the guy washing his hands on the sink.

Her vision was first blurry and she closed her eyes and opened it, it became clearer and now the guy was looking at him.

Her eyes widened as she stared at him, his brown eyes were enchanting that she got lost in it.

Okay, is she seeing things right now? Do angels exist? Like for real?

Her eyes moved from his eyes to his pointed nose and then his very pink lips, that she suddenly felt the urge to kiss it.

She didn't even know when her legs started moving towards till she stopped right before him.

The guy just stared at her with a raised brows.

"Sorry mister, but I can't seem to look past beautiful things." She said and stood on her toes and before the guy could comprehend what was going on, she already crashed her lips on his.

His eyes widened as he felt her soft lips on his. Ordinarily, he could have pushed her away but he pulled her closer by the waist before deepening the kiss.

≈ JESLYN'S PLACE ** 6AM ≈

The alarm sitting on the bedstand beeped endlessly in the room. The snores of the sleeping ladies could be heard loud and clear.

They were scattered around the house, sleeping like zombies. Jeslyn laided on the floor beside her, her hair sputtered on her face.

Krishi could be seen, lying on doorstep in between Jeslyn's bedroom and living room while Keevah slept on the floor in the living room, with her legs hanging on the center table.

They were so drunk last night that they fell asleep wherever their feet gave up. How they even got back home still remained a mystery.

Keevah groaned in her sleep as the alarm seemed to be disturbing her beautiful peace.

"Turn off the alarm Jeslyn... You're disturbing me." She mumbled, rubbing her ears.

"Oh Keevah, you're too loud." Krishi said, chewing on her hair which was covering her face.

"Shut up you chicken!"

Jeslyn stretched out her hand, finding the alarm with her eyes closed.

"Where is it?..." She mumbled.

"Jeslyn! Turn off the alarm!" Keevah screamed and Jeslyn sat up, she slowly opened her eyes and she could see the alarm on the bedstand tho her vision was blurry.

She crawled to it and turn it off, "You stupid thing." She said before climbing her bed to continue with her sleep.

≈ 8AM ≈

Jeslyn groaned sleepily, rolling on the bed as the ray of sunlight peering into the room settled on her figure.

She covered her face with the pillow, continuing her sleep. One thing she doesn't joke with was her early morning sleep.

"Oww... My head! Oww..." Krishi winced, standing up from the ground.

She walked to the living room with her hand holding her head and she could see Keevah sitting on the couch.

It appeared she was just waking up and was also holding her head.

"I'm having a hangover." She said and Krishi nodded.

"Me too. What's the time?" She asked and Keevah brought out her phone to check the time.

"8:07." She replied and Krishi nodded but her eyes suddenly widened and she dropped down her hand unconsciously.

"8am! It's 8am already?!" She gasped and Keevah nodded.

"F**k Jeslyn!" She screamed running into Jeslyn's room.

"What's her thing? Jeez my head! I should make a coffee." Keevah said, walking into the kitchen.

"Jeslyn! Wake up!" Krishi screamed, waking Jeslyn who pushed her off.

"Let me sleep."

"F**k jeslyn! It's 8am already! And it's your first day at work! You need to be early to work!" She announced and Jeslyn's eyes opened immediately, her gaze settling on the ceiling.

"Wake up, you need to get ready." Krishi mouthed and Jeslyn's sat up, her eyes darted to the alarm and she gasped.

"Damnit! Why didn't anyone wake me up! F**k my head!" She cried as she ran into the bathroom.

"Be fast!"

Minutes later, Jeslyn rushed out of her room already dressed for work. She looked at the girls who were at the living room with a cup of hangover soup.

"How do I look girls? Is it okay?" She asked and they nodded.

"It's perfect." Krishi said and she nodded, checking out herself one last time.

"Your car keys Krishi." She requested and Krishi threw the keys for her which she caught.

"Get in through the back seat, and the hand brake isn't functioning. Text your address, I'll come it get it." She said.

"Seriously? Sell that car already." Jeslyn said and Krishi scoffed.

"Never!" She immediately objected and Jeslyn just sighed tiredly.

Not like she had a choice, she was already late and waiting for a cab was gonna take all the time she had left.

She made to rush out but Keevah stopped her.

"Not yet. Have this, for your hangover." Keevah said handing the cup to her and Jeslyn nodded before collecting it, drinking it up at one goal.

"Thanks. You know where to leave the key when you're leaving. Take care." She said and dashed out of the house, not after handing Keevah back the cup.

Jeslyn was an orphan and she lived alone in the house but 80 out of 100%, the girls were always in her house. It was as if, her house was their hangout.

"Take care of my Angela!" Krishi shouted and Keevah scoffed, going back to her seat.

"Angela my foot." She said and Krishi scoffed.

"Yeah, that's my precious car." Krishi stuck out her tongue and Keevah rolled her eyes.

"You call that scrap a car?" Krishi bickered.

"Oh please." Keevah said, drinking her soup.

"Is it only me? But where's Skylar?" Krishi asked and Keevah looked up.

"I haven't seen her since last night when she went to the restroom." Keevah said.

≈ RAY HOLDINGS ≈

"Where's the new PA?" Raymond asked his secretary, Andre.

"She's not yet here sir." Andre replied and Raymond looked up.

"Seriously? What time is it? And a diligent worker isn't yet in work? Such an incompetent worker you got for me? Tardiness on her first day? Cool." He said, sarcastically.

"I'm sorry sir." Andre apologized.

"Whatever, she's fired. Get me a new PA." He said and Andre nodded.

He knew better than to talk him against it.

He began walking to the door and immediately he opened it, he bumped into Jeslyn at the door.

"Good morning." She whispered and peeped into the office, she couldn't see Raymond clearly coz he had his head down and his gaze on his laptop.

Andre looked at her and back at Raymond.

"Sir, the PA is here." He announced and Jeslyn pressed her lips, anxiously looking down, she was still at the door.

"Are you deaf or something? You're definitely not trying to get on my bad side this morning. I said she's fired!" Raymond yelled and Jeslyn looked up immediately.

Okay, that voice sounds familiar. But that wasn't important, she was getting fired before she even started working!

She immediately rushed into the office, to apologize, maybe she could get back the job.

"Please sir, I'm so..." The rest of the words died in her throat as she saw who her boss was.

No way!

"Raymond??" She called in a disbelief.

The angry look on Raymond's face changed as a mischievous smirk splayed on his lips.

Jeslyn kept on blinking her eyes, there's no way this was happening.

Raymond Valdez, her highschool enemy and worst nightmare was her boss? A guy whom she couldn't stand the sight of was her boss? Someone whom she hated so much.

How on earth??

≈ KAYDEN'S CONDO ≈

A sound, just like that of a truck could be heard as Krishi drove her Angela into the building.

The car was evaporating cloud of smokes, polluting the air.

"To rest now Angela." Krishi said as she turned off the car's ignition and she smiled, bringing out a mirror from her bag.

She did some touchups to her makeup and smiled in satisfaction. "My, you're so beautiful Krishi. My gawd!" She giggled, putting back the mirror and make up in her bag, then she climbed into the backseat and got down from the car.

She got the box of ladoos(Indian sweets) which was sitting on the back seat before closing the car's door, then she began walking to the building.

She stood at the door, she was about pressing the doorbell but stopped and checked out herself one last time.

She was putting on a white Anarkali suit (an Indian gown which consists of a dress and leggings) and a white dupatta (a scarf) was hung around her neck, she wore a black sandals. Her hands adored with bangles and her hair was weaved in two cornrows and she looked nice in it.

She smiled in satisfactory before pressing the doorbell and she waited happily, for him to open the door.

She pressed the doorbell again, and he still didn't come to get the door.

"Kayden!" She called, her Indian accent evident in the way she pronounced the name.

"Kayden!" She called again, knocking on the door. When she got no reply, she decided to turn the doorknob and surprisedly it was opened.

She walked in.

"Kayden!" She called, looking around.

She could hear low sounds like that of... No, she didn't wanna believe it. She could hear her heart beating loudly in her chest as she walked further into the house, the moans became louder with each step she took.

She swallowed nothing.

'No please. Kayden can't do this to her.' She thought as she took the stairs to his room.

And immediately she got there, the door was just widely opened and she could see her so called boyfriend!

The guy who claims to be so f**king in love with her! The guy whom she was so stupidly inlove with, despite all the warnings from her friends! The guy whom she gave her virginity to! There... He was right there, with a bítch, pouncing on her @ss and this b*tch was busy screaming his name.

The box of ladoos fell from her hand.

She couldn't hold it in, she could feel her heart shattering into pieces and she didn't know when tears escaped her eyes.

"Kayden!!!"

≈ PARKER'S MANSION ≈

Keevah peeped through the window in the living room and she could see her mom seated on the couch talking to someone whom she couldn't see. It was obviously a guy and he had his back on her while her mom was seated by his right.

"Geez, this woman. Why's she at home right now? She should be at work." She muttered as she watched.

She was scared of going in. If there's anyone she was scared of in the world, then it was her mom. If strictness was a person, it should be her mom.

Her mom had set up an arranged marriage for her and yesterday was supposed to be the day she got married and she disappeared since the day before yesterday and surprisedly her mom never looked for and she felt this lady had something under her sleeve.

Her mom, Lucy Parker was a single mother. She had no idea who her father is and she had never asked her mom. She felt her mom doesn't wanna talk about it and she never bothered coz her mom had always played the role of both mother and father and she never for once regret not having a father.

"Keevah?" She heard someone called behind her and she turned to see Anya.

A maid in their house, and the only person she was closest to aside her mom.

"Anya? What's going on? What's mom up to?" She asked and Anya shook her head sadly.

"Honestly, I don't know Keevah. But I think, you just can't run away from your mom. she asked me to call you." Anya said and Keevah sighed.

She saw her.

"Let's go." Anya said and the two walked in.

Keevah immediately rushed to her mother.

"Mom!, I was actually abducted. I didn't mean to run away and you never called for me. I could have been killed." Keevah pouted and Lucy nodded.

"Good thing you weren't killed." Lucy said and Keevah rolled her eyes, then she looked at the man who had been looking at her all this while.

He was... Good-looking? Should she say that?

"Mom, who's he?" She asked and Lucy smiled, stroking her hair.

"Your husband." She replied and Keevah chuckled.

"C'mon mom. I didn't get married." She said and her mom nodded.

"I know, well he got married to you in your absence." Her mom said and she raised a brow.

"How?!"

"Just like we have representative government, we also have representative marriage. How do I explain this, Anya took your position on your wedding day, so baby, you're a married woman right now. I can't be less happy." Her mom said and Keevah sprang on the feet immediately.

"No way!" She shouted.

"Yes way!" Lucy conquered.

Keevah looked at the guy with a deep frown.

"I must say, I admire your courage wifey. Running away on your wedding day. I guess no one ever told you I never joke with things I want." He smirked and Keevah glared at him.

Lucy picked up her bag and stood up.

"I'm off to work now, sweetie. Quick reminder, you're owe Bryan here a kiss and your wedding night deal. Anya couldn't do that for you, baby. So pay back, I thought you never to owe debt right?" Lucy smiled, tapping her cheek before walking away.

"You heard her? So which should we start with first wifey? Kiss or wedding night? Oh, obviously it's kiss..." Bryan smirked standing up.

"Hey you stop right there! Don't come close to me!" Keevah said walking backwards.

"Mom!!!"
