Mia's heart skipped a beat at his whispered words behind her ears. Though she was angry at him for causing her to make a fool of herself today in his house, she couldn't find it in her heart to jerk her wrist away from his hold and leave the house. She didn't know what his relationship with that woman was and if they were really engaged or not, but she found herself standing still in place with him hovering closer behind her.
She felt his strong arm encircle her waist from behind and he hugged her to his hard body. Her breath cut short in her lungs when she felt her rear end pressed tight to his hardened thighs. Mia didn't know what to do as he leaned his chin on her shoulder while still hugging her.
