"Now, let's review the gains from the simulation," Dick mused, surprised at the system's promptness. Although eager to enhance his strength, his immediate concern was understanding his current status.
Host: Dick Grayson
Type: Ordinary Goblin
Status: Child (New)
Current Situation: Healthy
Body: Weight 20 kg, Height 53 cm
Combat Power: G+
Skills: Life Absorption (New), Tool Making (New)
Evolution Points: 50/400 (acquired by hunting)
"This represents my real-life status," Dick reflected, examining the virtual page in his mind. Initially a frail goblin cub, shunned by his race, he had now progressed to a child stage, thanks to the simulation's experience and skills, which had begun to manifest in his body.
"So, I've reached the stage of a Goblin child, but the path to adulthood is still long," he pondered, observing the array of new notes on the panel, indicative of his recent acquisitions.
Yet, the immediate concern was the large black wolf lurking below the tree. Recalling the danger, Dick cautiously peered down with his dark green head. To his dismay, the wolf was resting under the tree, its posture betraying its vigilance towards him.
The wolf, sensing Dick's gaze, locked eyes with the goblin child. Its eyes, initially filled with predatory desire, seemed to mock him, confident in its inevitable victory.
"Damn it!" Dick's eyes blazed with fury, incensed by the black wolf's taunting. He knew his G+ level abilities as a goblin child were no match for the wolf's probable F-level or higher status.
Fighting was out of the question with such a disparity in strength. Dick, realizing the imprudence of taking such a risk, especially when another simulation chance could make him stronger, abandoned the idea of confrontation.
Turning his attention to the tree hole, which he hadn't fully explored, he noticed its spaciousness. The tree, stretching five meters in length, had a three-meter-wide hole, easily accommodating a giant bird. A nest constructed of branches and straw indicated it was some creature's habitat.
Dick's intuition warned him of the potential danger from the nest's owner. To escape the black wolf's pursuit and avoid attracting the attention of this unknown creature, he decided to proceed with another simulation.
The system presented new options for his next journey:
"Congratulations, you have traveled to another world. Please choose your birth mother:
A. Tragic human priestess
B. Charming harpy
C. Violent cave spider
D. Corrupted dark elf
E. Ugly dwarf goblin."
Dick noted the change in options. "Gone are the previous choices of princesses, noble daughters, succubi, and forest elves," he observed, preparing to make his selection.
Dick observed the change in the system's options, though the reasoning behind it eluded him. His main concern was not to ponder these mysteries, but to swiftly choose his next birth mother for the rebirth simulation.
"Harpy, cave spider, dwarf goblin," he considered. The thought of a goblin bringing these formidable creatures into the lair to serve as mothers for its offspring was surprising. Goblins, known for their greedy, despicable nature and penchant for chaos, often proved overwhelming for less experienced species.
However, Dick remained uncertain about these three choices. Being born to mothers with potentially little rationality posed a risk; an immediate death at the hands of these 'mothers' would render the simulation pointless.
"Human priestess, dark elf," he contemplated further. These races, capable of communication and maternal instincts, seemed more reassuring. Their human-like forms aligned with his current predicament.
Eventually, he leaned towards the dark elf. Though still a goblin, the skills he could extract from a dark elf mother seemed more advantageous for future simulations.
Dick then chose his birthplace: a Large Goblin Lair. Opting for a less dominant lair seemed prudent to avoid the brutal intra-species competition of stronger nests.
Host: Dick
Type: Ordinary Goblin
Status: Child
Current situation: Thin

Skills: Life Absorption, Tool Making
Evolution Points: 120/400 (acquired by hunting)
Birth Mother: F+ level dark elf
In the dark, damp cave, the air was thick with the familiar smell of blood, the shrill cries of babies, and grotesque laughter.
Dick immediately sensed something was off. Opening his eyes, he found himself in the heart of a vast goblin lair. Little dark green goblins, with malevolent grins and bared teeth, hovered over the defeated females of various races, their eyes empty and despairing.
"The start of this simulation is somewhat different," Dick noted, realizing he had begun directly as a Goblin child.
To his surprise, he was lying atop a dark elf with dark black skin and gray-streaked white hair, her eyes reflecting despair and vacancy. The absence of any garments covering her body struck Dick profoundly.
"Goblins truly are a vile race," he acknowledged, understanding the situation. Leaving the dark elf, his birth mother, he saw in her eyes the reflection of a monster – himself.
Avoiding her gaze, Dick began extracting skills, curious if this simulation's start would offer different opportunities.
[You have been simulated to be reborn as an ordinary goblin. Please select a skill randomly from the birth mother's race.]
Familiar with the process, Dick made his choice.
[You have extracted the Dark Elf clan skill: Archery Specialization]
[Archery Specialization: Mastery of the longbow, achieving a 90% hit rate on prey]
[A new life mission has been issued.]
Mission: Slay over thirty monsters, accumulate evolution points to reach F-level, and survive the next attack from the Goblin Slaying Knight for ten minutes.
Reward: Post-death return to reality includes inheritance of simulation skills and variable level inheritance based on performance.
"Survive the attack by the Goblin Slayer?" Dick pondered upon this unexpected mission.
Suddenly, a dense white fog enveloped the cave entrance.
Dick realized the so called Goblin Slaying Knight was approaching!
