Amidst the darkness of the night, only the headlights of cars and street lamps shone, making the dark road visible.
Among the crowd of vehicles, in a white BMW, Yuden and Zahra were sitting in silence. No one shared a word after they had left the palace.
Yuden opened his mouth to speak but quickly closed it once he noticed Zahra didn't seem concerned about the silence between them.
Zahra looked through the car's window, regretting her actions from earlier. The way she had grabbed Yuden's arm to leave the palace so that she wouldn't need to be escorted by Cassius was not what she wanted.
Yuden appeared in front of her after a whole month. He didn't contact her nor did she pay her any visit, which only angered her.
She glanced at him and quickly looked away once she noticed Yuden's gaze was already fixed on her.
"Your Highness," Yuden said, breaking the stillness inside the car.
Zahra did not reply.
