Layla walked in the corridor, waiting impatiently for Crown Prince Yuden to arrive at the castle with Princess Zahra.
He somehow managed to get the Queen Dowager's permission to bring Princess Zahra outside despite how strict the Queen Dowager was about her decisions.
"Manipulative much. He always manages to get what he wants," she mumbled.
She was unable to understand any of his moves.
First, he wanted to marry her to become the king of Averlyon and now that Princess Zahra was back, he quickly turned his back to her and started to find ways to execute his plans.
However, how could he let Zahra meet with Issac, her lover? Wouldn't that only ruin his plans? Was he trying to keep a good image and relationship with her for a plan he would execute later?
Those thoughts wouldn't let Layla sit in one place.
