Zahra looked left and right in the room in which Sameera brought her. A vague sense of nostalgia occurred in her.
"This was your bedroom. I haven't changed anything because I feared you would be upset when you returned. It might be silly but.. I wanted you to choose your own furniture as per your preference. After all, everyone's tastes change when they grow up," Sameera curled her lips into a faint smile.
"However, I made sure the servants cleaned your room properly and made sure they didn't leave any dust in here," Sameera was interrupted by Zahra who unexpectedly jumped on her.
The young woman wrapped her arms around the older lady tightly, her body shaking.
"Are you okay?" Sameera hesitantly patted the back of her daughter, slowly wrapping her arm around her thin body.
"Mhm.. I'm sorry I failed to notice your love," a few tears rolled down Zahra's cheeks.
She pulled herself away from her mother and wiped them away.
