Life isn't hard to live. We are the ones complicating it by opting for a lifestyle we can't afford, or dreaming big, hoping that our worlds will be perfect just like we have always imagined them to be.
A simple life on an island, with a family of three, like the one I am currently living with Mark and Sammy, is the way to go.
The 6 am alarm buzzes, welcoming me into the new day. I slide off the tiny bed I share with Mark, stretching and yawning, allowing the salty air to fill my lungs.
I pad towards the makeshift tiny bathroom Mark had constructed by the side of the room. After brushing my teeth and having my bath, I dress up in one of my simple gowns, tying my hair up in a tight bun, before heading to the kitchen.
While stirring the pot of steaming soup, which I am preparing for Mark to have before he goes for his fishing later in the day, I wonder if again I have made the right choice by taking Chloe's advice.
