Chereads / Other Lookism / Chapter 2 - Gun

Chapter 2 - Gun

Daniel won by one shotting Zack. No one could believe that Zack has lost to the new guy. Everyone cheered Daniel, but Zack was embarrassed he has lost in front of his crush, Mira.

Jay has helped Zack by putting him on his back and carrying him to the nurse office, bumping into Enitos by mistake.

Only then everyone realized that Enitos was here too.

"Hey, do you think that guy also knows how to fight?" a random guy asked.

"Look at his face. Do you think someone like him will ever get his hands dirty?"

"That clothing too, full white, no way he can do anything."

"What if it's a kink or something? Painting his clothes with the blood of the one he fights?"

"This got me wet just thinking about it..." everyone looked disgusted by what she said, but inwardly they all agreed.

"Everyone, in your seats" the teacher said, starting the lesson. While in his seat, Enitos messaged the woman from earlier.

"Found him."

"Already?" the respond came back instantly, but he ignored it.

'Now... how should I do it?' the male thought, not paying attention to whatever the teacher was saying.

When the school day ended, Daniel could be seen exiting the school. At the gates, a luxury car was parked. A gorgeous woman and a well built guy with sunglasses got out of it.

She was Crystal Choi, the daughter of the well known Charles Choi, and guy was Gun Park, her bodyguard.

"Hey, you!" the woman said, looking at Daniel.

"H-huh? Me?" he asked confused.

"Yes. C-"

"Daniel."

Crystal was rudely interrupted by a male's voice. For some reason, Daniel instinctively grew tense.

They all looked behind Daniel, to see Enitos walking towards them.

Crystal wasn't fond of handsome guys. She always thought they are some liars, fake pieces of trash that had ulterior motives.

But even then, she couldn't help being astonished by Enitos. From his black hair, to his face, to his clothes, her brain just couldn't stop screaming 'innocent'.

"Were you talking? My bad. Didn't see you there." he smiled at her. "Let's go, Daniel."

"Huh? Where? I don't even know you!"

Enitos put his hand over Daniel's shoulders, dragging him.

"That's a lie. We are friends since we are classmates, Dan."

"We.. are?"

"Of course! Stop being so tense now." said Enitos, patting his back.

Daniel relaxed. He was feeling happy he already made a friend on his first day.

"Where are we going?"

"To eat, because I'm quite hungry. I know a decent place around here."

Daniel followed Enitos, reaching a restaurant.

"T-that's decent for you?!" Daniel yelled when he saw the "decent" restaurant.

The building featured a sleek and polished exterior. It had big glass windows letting Daniel see the customers inside, all wearing elegant and very expensive suits. The entrance was quite classic, but it just compliments the restaurant even more.

In other words, it screamed luxury.

"I'm talking about the food. The food is decent. Don't get fooled by it's appearance."

Enitos responded, approaching the entrance.

"But I'm wearing just an uniform! Won't they just kick me out?" Daniel asked, not feeling particularly good about eating here.

"Pfft, please." the other male chucked. "Am I any better? Just get in." he continued, entering the place.

Daniel meekly followed, feeling the gazes of everyone here. They weren't even looking at him, but he still felt like that was the case.

'Been a while since I was with a wuss like him...' Enitos sighed, walking upstairs. They passed by numerous rooms there, nearing one that said VIP.

Daniel for a second thought that they'll enter that room, but Enitos kept walking until the end of the hall. The hall ended with a door that had the bold letters 'VVIP'.

Enitos entered, shocking Daniel even more.

"There. No one's here." the male said, reaching what seemed to be a bar and pouring himself a glass of Hennessy.

Daniel looked around, intrigued by what was there.

"Don't waste your time. What you saw downstairs is here too. The single difference is that no one's allowed to come here."

"No one besides me, that is." he continued after taking a sip from his cognac.

Enitos took a sit at a table, telling Daniel to do the same.

"Order what do you want. Don't worry about the price. Just press the button on your left when you are done."

"I'll do so then!" Daniel, still pretty uncomfortable, looked at the menu. There still was something that he did not understand.

"H-hey."

"Hmm?"

"Why... Why did you bring me here?"

"Well, friends treat each other sometimes, right?"

"Stop with that! I'm not that dumb!"

Daniel, with newfound courage, exclaimed.

"..."

There was a moment of silence.

"But you are." Enitors responded after he finished his drink.

"What?"

"You indeed are dumb. Following a stranger up here? Alone? Remember what I said? No one's allowed here."

"Think Danny boy. Just how many variables could that bring?"

At this point, Daniel felt his heart thumping faster and faster. His body grew even more alert.

"Haha, just kidding, just kidding. Man, you paled really fast." Enitors laughed it off.

"Why are you getting so scared, Dan? I don't even know how to fight, haha. Seeing how you beat Zack, why would I try something on ya? Be more confident."

"H-haha. Y-yeah. I.. I think I should leave."

"I really scared you here, huh? My bad, my bad. Seeing how skilled you were, I thought you won't get fazed by some jokes. Oh well, see you tomorrow, Daniel." Enitos cheerfully said, pouring himself another glass.

"Yeah, see you tomorrow!"

Daniel hurriedly left.

Enitos saw him leaving the restaurant.

He also saw the car from earlier.

'Hum hum... What was his name again?'

Seeing how the car did not follow Daniel as he thought it would, Enitos also left the restaurant.

He approached the car, seeing how the person from earlier opened the door.

'Aha~ I remember.'

Now the two guys stood in front of each other, face to face.
