'Oi, oi, how many books have you read so far…'

This time, Saiki could not keep his composure anymore. Almost every book that he touch was spoiled by the other person!

Because of the damned telepathy, Saiki was spoiled again.

The existence of mystery novel that plot is already known by the reader is equivalent to useless.

This made Saiki feel a little helpless. He never thought that after pushing the two jolly creatures, he would encounter another troublesome person.

'It seems that this Shiina girl is a real fan of mystery novels'

Saiki sighed in his heart again however his eyes dropped on the novel in Shiina's hands. A new idea immediately emerged on his head.

'Since she is also here to borrow a book, it must mean that she hasn't read that book yet… there is also another same book, this is great'

While he was thinking, his hand stretched out and touched the book and just like he expected, there was no information inside Shiina's head.

'Finally found you!'

The corners of his mouth was raised slightly.

"That… do you also like reading Raymond Chandler's novels?"

And at this moment, Shiina swiftly walked up to Saiki and asked with great curiosity.

"I…"

This sudden move left Saiki at loss. Just a minute ago, this girl was contemplating whether to talk to a stranger but after seeing him pick this particular book, that hesitation vanished.

"I just want to find a book to entertain myself"

Saiki gave a vague answer because he doesn't want to have too much contact with the other party.

"I see… But I just saw that you seemed to be interested in other books. Why did you choose this one?"

Shiina asked curiously. She has been observing Saiki's movements and noticed that the other party was not choosing randomly but rather selecting carefully.

"Because I already read the other books"

Saiki casually gave an explanation which in a sense is not wrong. Shiina already revealed the entire plot on her mind after all.

Still, he instantly regretted answering like that when he heard the girl's thoughts.

[This person… he read all these books?]

[Some of them are relatively unpopular in the mystery world but he still found them?]

[Have I perhaps meet someone with the same interest and hobbies with me?!]

Shiina's lavender eyes appears to shine with light as the corners of her mouth rose visibly. She looked very interested in Saiki.

For Shiina, there are too few people with the same hobbies.

Even though there are a lot of people out there who love reading mystery novels, it is a different case in this school. The students only enter here to study for their future and has no interest in reading for fun, and because of this Shiina has no idea how to approach the others.

Now, she finally met someone who has the same interest as her.

While Shiina might look gentle and timid on the outside, she is actually very active on the mental side. Sadly though she hasn't found any person who has the same hobbies as hers making her mind useless.

"I didn't expect you to be so interested in mystery novels!"

Shiina leaned forward and stared at Saiki with clear eyes.

In a sense, Shiina is indeed right as Saiki love reading mystery novels regrettably though he doesn't like interacting with others that much, Kushida is even a hassle to him.

[At last, I finally found someone whom I can have a common topic with… I have never met such person before]

[I have always wanted to make friends but I haven't been able to talk with other people before…]

[Wait a minute, isn't it too rude of me to act like this? I haven't even introduced myself yet!]

Shiina jolted for a second before a smile appeared on her face.

"Sorry to disturb you, my name is Shiina Hiyori and I am a student of first year Class C. You must be a freshman too!"

Shiina introduced herself to Saiki in a very warm and friendly manner. At the same time, her thoughts kept generating things.

[He came here to find books and he is obviously a freshman who just arrived at the school. If we are both freshman then we could talk a lot of things! I finally found a book friend!]

'Ah, ah, ah it's difficult to leave now'

Saiki could clearly heard each of Shiina's inner words and although in principle he should try not to have contact with other people around him, the current situation is not good.

"My name is Saiki Kusuo, Class D"

Saiki also introduced himself. Compare to others, Shiina is relatively a normal girl, though her love for mystery is somewhat beyond Saiki's expectations. Even though Saiki can't stand it, it is still within the acceptable range.

Thinking of the future, Saiki realized that this girl is bad for him. He was directly spoiled just now and there is no doubt that it will happen on the future.

'It is best to avoid each other during the next time I come in the library'

Saiki made a mental note on his mind.

"Nice to meet you Saiki-san! Please give me some advice!"

Shiina kept a smile on her face and then took out a few novels from the bookshelf.

"If you are interested in Raymond Chandler's novels then I recommend you to read this one… this is also good!"

She tiptoed again and tried to take a few more books but due to her petite stature, she couldn't reach them.

'… in this situation, there is no way to ignore this'

Saiki sighed again for the nth time as he took a step forward and helped Shiina take a few more books.

Listening to Shiina recommending books, Saiki was actually somewhat intrigued in the books she mentioned.

Unfortunately this interest instantly disappeared the next second.

[Saiki-san must have never imagined that the truth is…]
