A bubble of darkness then made its appearance above the waters that were surrounded by wide and endless walls. It spat out an unconscious human - Kris who was now floating on top of the body of water.
After a while of drifting away in the makeshift sea, Kris's eyes finally snapped open. He rose his body forth and began to swim forward.
He told himself, "I should start doing my own fighting, with my own consciousness."
If Kris had a little bit of natural life in him, he would have sounded grumpy and upset with himself. But with the complex state he was in, he sounded as blank as an untouched canvas.
The way Kris was going wasn't by dumb decision but by knowledge.

He could see floating words that were moving away forward, through the walls. Kris swam hastily towards the floating set of words.
He eventually made it at Leviathan's location and climbed on top of it.
"Hmm," Bo mumbled in a quiet surprise.
He began to get on his feet. "Yo-"
"You're useless," Kris immediately said in a null manner.
Bo, who was now on his feet, showed an irritated face. His teeth clenched and a vein popping out of his forehead. Yet, he kept a smile on his face, poorly hiding his emotions.
"Guess that's what you think of me," said Bo. Every time he said a word, the scraping of his teeth came out along side them.
Bo sighed. "Whatever. I found what was making the skeletons, so we won't have to worry about them now since I destroyed it."
Kris stayed silent for a second. "You are still useless. Haven't you found an orb or something?"
"Uhh," Bo confusingly scratched the back of his head. "No."
"See," Kris said in a blank manner. "Useless."
Bo, this time, remained composed as he began to suck in air and then release it.
He turned his head to the waters that they were heading for and saw something strange.
"Hey, look there," Bo pointed.
Kris turned his head to the direction was pointing at. It was a wall, but something was wrong with its structure. It was like steady, thick liquid flowing downwards. It didn't merge with the water but it seem to flow Infinitely.
Kris then summoned his system. "I still have some points remaining after reaching level ninety seven."

"Ok," said Kris.
"It's most likely the layer of another powerful creature or the boss itself," Bo suggested.
Kris peered at him. "Most likely? The boss is with the orb, and I can tell it isn't here."
"So why are we still heading in?" Bo inquired.
Kris drafted his attention back to the liquid-like wall.
"Because it's the only way to become stronger," he responded. "A tool like you wouldn't know that."
Bo then turned to look at the wall as well. "...Yeah," he agreed.
They then entered the wall. The grey liquid covering Leviathan and its passengers.
The two were now in a ravaged landscape of a war-torn world. Not three as Leviathan was missing and they were on soiled, dry ground.
"What the fuck?" Bo inquired and cursed at the same time.
In the distance, sat a lone figure. It sat upon a pile of destruction. Rubble and dead bodies.
Kris gazed upon the individual with his gold-like eyes. He saw that the figure was a man that had black hair, red eyes and was partially under as he wore clothing that covered his lower region. Strapped on his back was a giant, great sword that was twice his size and unusual in structure as it was shaped as a lizard and had scales belonging to a dragon.

"(What does the plus at the end of this thing's attributes mean?)" Kris inquired inwardly. "(And is this an equivalent to an Ascended Player, seeing that one of its skills is at level one hundred?)"
It was the King of Havok reignited the flames of destruction. His Devouring Sword, a blade that consumed anything it cut, hungers for its next victim.
He glanced at the two figures that emerged from the ruins. He could tell one was confused while the other was determined to put an end to the King's reign of power.
Kris, summoned Transcendent in his arms, and charged at the King. The King of Havok didn't sense a primitive reliance from this person who dared to wield only two weapons to face him, but he got the sense that this person was trying to dethrone him.
The one that was beside him stood, not a gentle soul but had the power to control growth, life, and plants, yet didn't sought balance in his soul.
"Interesting," said the King.
He stood up and peered at Kris who was making his way towards him.
[Active Skill:
Acceleration - Advance/Lvl 1]
Kris sped up his pace. But in the eyes of the King of Havok, he was snail.
The King took a step and was now right at Kris's location, clenching his head with a mighty and unyielding grip.
"You gotta do better than to defeat me," said Duke.
Slightly tightening his grip, he crushed Kris head in to bits that left his flesh and skull as small chunks. Duke then ripped of Kris's right arm and began to munch on it as he walked towards Bo.
He moaned in pleasure after taking a bite. "Delicious!"
Bo was in the far distance and saw what was going on.
"He shouldn't have charged in like an idiot, but what ev-"
Before Bo could finish his sentence, he saw a gigantic mouth infront of him and the King wield it.
Bo evaded the attack and glanced at the what was about to swallow him whole. It was the weapon of the King of Havok. The sword was living thing that had a mouth and the King was smiling at Bo.
"Holy shit!" Bo cursed.
The King charging forward with his sword at the ready once again. This time, Kris was infront of the attack. He had a gun and unleashed a hail of bullets, but the King's chaos aura distorted the projectiles, sending them astray.
Kris then glanced at Bo.
Bo then summoned a wave of thorny vines to ensnare the King, but he simply cut through them with his sword, which was devouring the plant life.
"Come on! This is no fun!"
Duke slammed his weapon into the ground and suddenly landscape around them began to distort and writhe, reality bending to the King's chaos aura.
[King's Manipulation has been activated by the Target!]
Kris once again summoned Transcendent. The King seem to admire the weapon as each part of this sword was mastered and carved to perfection, but the King thought that his sword that consumed everything was way better.
"Nice sword you got there. Can I eat it?" The King asked as he swung his living blade at Kris.
Kris duked and began to prepare an attack to pierce the King in the naked belly.
"Shut it," Kris simply remarked.
Suddenly, the Kings body disappeared. The ground below Kris began to rupture and he was blow away. It was done by the air motion of the King moving away from the attack.
The King of Havok then appeared behind Kris, ready to chop his opponent's head. He movement was as silent as night.
"Got ya," said Bo.
Bo then attempted to accelerate the King's growths Marking him with this ability would overwhelm him with rapid decay, but the King's aura resisted the effect.
[Dark Aura has been activated by the Target!]
The King retaliated with a wave of dark energy, but Bo summoned a blooming garden, absorbing the attack and tried to heal himself.
[Dark Magic has been activated by the Target!]
"Damn it," Bo commented as he hid behind the bushes of leaves.
The King then prepared another attack. "The hell?! What are some leaves are going to do!? But sure, Devour will love to eat some veggies."
"Can you shut up?" Kris inquired in a blank tone.
Kris was behind the King and was holding his head while having Transcendent's blade at his neck. Kris slashed at the next but didn't cut anything.
[Havoc Travel has been activated by the Target!]
"To slow," said the King.
But he had to halt in his tracks as he was now trapped a unusual area. A domain that was inflicting him with immense heat and chill at the same time.
"What is this?" Duke inquired.
Kris, who didn't bother to answer the King of Havok, summoned a massive warhammer, striking the King with incredible force. However, the King's sword, Devour, counterattacked with a devastating slash.
Kris who was sent flying back then clasped his hands. Suddenly, his domain began to collapse on itself, yet was heading towards Duke.
He had replicate his unconscious body technique but only different was that he found a way to not take damage.
[Active Skill:
Aura - Rare/Lvl 2]
Kris covered himself with his own aura, distributing it to all corners of his body.
[King's Manipulation has been activated by the Target!]
Suddenly, the domain disappeared.
As the dust settled, the King still stood as he was victorious. True, his dominance over the battlefield absolute.
Kris was unable to inflict damage on to the King as he would counter with something out of his arsenal. Bo, his control over growth was obviously being overwhelmed by the King's aura.
The King of Havok stood alone, flexing his power against his challengers. The world trembled at his feet, reality itself bending to his will. The Devouring Sword, now satiated, hung at his side, waiting for its next victim. The King's reign of might would continue, unopposed, if Kris or Bo couldn't stop him.
"Come on, fight me!" Duke exclaimed.
The realm they resided was created by the King himself. To challenge himself, and as such, he has defeated countless enemies that his imagination could conjure. And he would grow stronger if he ate their bodies.
Kris sighed blankly. "Will this thing ever shut up?"
