Kris had arrived to the next Floor.
"This a fuckin hassle," Kris cursed his luck.
He would go about things by destroying them but he had to take his time and now solve a mystery.
"Bullshit."
He lifted his gaze from his System and peered at the vast land in front of him. It was place filled with nature; trees, grass, bushes and animals. He was in a forest.
"So, this is the Kingdom?" Kris inquired to himself.
He then peered even more further and behind the natural greenery, he saw man-made structures.
"Oh, it's a Kingdom in the woods," said Kris as he began to venture.
Walking through the forest, he was unalarmed. Either because of his arrogance or because of the clamminess and comfort of the woods. It was silent but was filled with the sounds of birds singing, rustling bushes and the wind blowing the branches of the trees.
"I never visited the country, but I've found myself in similar locations in this Tower," Kris began to speak. "But, why does place feel so.. comfortable?"
Kris halted in his tracks. Right now, he wanted nothing more to just lay down and fall asleep.
"Hmm.." Kris muttered under his breath.
He continued to walk, forcing himself to fight the warmth and pleasuring feeling of the forest.
"Now I fully understand the Description of this Quest," said Kris. "There is a spell that is placed on to this place or probably the entire world. Which means.."
[You have extracted x1 Dagger (Eden)!]
Kris slashed horizontally. A huge gust have wind came from his blade and the forest made impact with its power.
The place then turned from a forest to a plain.
Now, the path towards the Kingdom was clear and easy to navigate.
".. their is a powerful opponent here. Everything has to be troublesome."
Kris approached the Kingdom. He was now standing infront of a large gate about sixteen thousand feet.
"Where did these guys get the time to build this thing?" Kris had to inquire.
The gate wasn't the only large thing. The walls ascended pass the gate and nearly entered the realm of the clouds.
"Hmm, I wouldn't be able to do that in my whole lifetime. And second, how long am I going to wait until I can get in. That Gate isn't going to fall soon."
Suddenly, from the lower half of the gate - about ten feet - came down.
"Oh, that is what they used. Guess it was just for the shade."
Two guards came from within the Kingdom and pointed their weapons at him with narrowed eyes.
"Who are you?" One asked.
Kris then inquired, "Who, me?"
"Oh, I'm a Player if that is want you want to call it. It would better if it was called System User."
"A Player," the other guard inquired while looking at the other.
A smile then appeared on their faces. A welcoming and joyful smile that showed genuine love and kindness. It also looked like they held that smile on for their entire lifetime.
"A Player!?" One exclaimed. "You are like our King!"
"King?" Kris asked. "(A Player decided to stay here until he managed to become King? I just said that I'm a Player to see how they would have reacted. I didn't expect this.)"
"Come," the guard on the right said, gesturing Kris to follow him. "We'll take you to her."
"(Her? Wouldn't that be Queen?)" Kris thought.
He followed the guards behind the walls. As they entered, the gate closed behind them.
Inside was as he expected from a Kingdom. He visited many. Only thing with this one was the large wall and that it wouldn't be annihilated in a few seconds.
He followed the guards until one suddenly branched off.
"I'm going to Knights Hall. I'll see you back at the gate before the end of our shift," said the guard.
The other then said, "Yeah. Make sure to hurry. We won't want anyone realizing that no one is guarding the gate. But they'll understand since it's an urgent matter."
"(Hmm. A urgent matter?)" Kris inquired.
"Hey!" Kris called to one of the guards.
"What is it?" The guard asked in a delightful tone.
"Why is it so important to carry me to your King? Did she request that you should we you guys discover a Player."
"Excellent!" The guard said.
"(Suspicious..)" Kris thought. "Alright. That's all I need to now."
He continued to follow the guard until they reached a small wall that blocked of a certain area and a metal gate. The guard knocked on the gate with his gauntlet.
Inside, a other guard came.
He had a smile on his face as he asked, "How may I be of assistance to you, Dred?"
"Nothing much. We just found a Player."
"..." The guard stayed silent before erupting. "WWWWWWWHHHHHHAAAAATTTTTTTTT!!!!!"
"Holy crap, my ears," said the guard.
"(Holy shit, my ears.)" Kris cursed inwardly.
"Hurry up and come in, god damnit!" The guard urgently insisted. "Make sure to get a word into our King for me too!"
"Yeah, yeah. Sure," said the guard with a smile as he entered.
Kris then said in his mind, "(An anxious one, is he. I wonder what does this King mean to them for them to act like this. Or properly put it, what is so important that finding a Player is treated with such high regard?)"
Inside was a mansion of a temple.
It had golden pillars and a pure white paint that covered every wall. The design was of if in ancient Greek.
"(Which point in history am I?)" Kris inquired.
He had to asked because first there were Knights. Then outside of the temple, he observed that the commoners were dressed in modern style clothing. And now a temple from Ancient Greek.
"Mix tradition," Kris said.
"What?" The guard asked.
"Nothing."
Infront of the temple, they halted.
The guard shouted in a delightful tone, "Your Highness!!"
A knight one the exterior of the temple then glared at the guard and asked, "You know that I could-"
"Shut up, you move slower than a slug when you are in the presence of the King," said the guard.
"Uh.." the knight was lifted speechless as he knew that was true.
The King of the Kingdom then stepped out of the temple.
"(The hell?)" Kris inquired to himself. "(That's the King.)"
Kris then felled to his knees and gritted his teeth.
"(That's no King. That's a Goddess!)" Kris said.
"Hey! What's wrong with you?" The guard asked.
"(Fuck! What the hell am I doing!?)" Kris exclaimed plainly and robotically. "(How can this one person have such dominance! Why not me!?)"
"Hahaha!" The female King giggled.
She wore a rich dress that had golden yellow and white. A crystal crown what was white and blue eyes that were bright as the ocean. White hair as clean and beautiful as the clouds.
"(Why do you sound like a machine? Put some emotion in you voice when you speak about me.)"
"(Huh? I can hear you?)" Kris asked as he looked up at the King.
She smiled even wider.
"(Of course. Cause here, I'm God!)"
"(You have such beautiful golden eyes. I already know it is an item though.)"
"Your Highness! What should we do with him?" The guard at the exterior of the temple inquired.
"Simple," said the King. "Bring him to the guest room."
The King began to walk away, going towards the door to her temple.
"Not to be disobedient, but shouldn't we take him a medic or something?" The guard asked.
The King paused in her tracks and then turned her head at the guard. She smiled and said, "No. His a Player after all."
She opened the door to her temple and entered.
"He'll find away to heal whatever is bothering him because his a Player."
