Chapter 24 - Chapter 24

Villain POV

Lord Garmadon's throne room exuded an aura of dark power, illuminated only by the eerie glow of the four Golden Weapons resting ominously before him. As he gazed upon them, a mixture of awe and bewilderment clouded his features. How had he acquired these legendary artifacts? And more perplexing still, how had his son known exactly what he needed?

The reconstruction of the Destiny's Bounty into his twisted version, the Black Bounty, had been a feat of dark magic and cunning. But now, with the Golden Weapons in his possession, he could unlock their full potential and wield their formidable power as his own.

"Prepare the Black Bounty," he commanded, his voice echoing through the cavernous chamber. The serpentines, his loyal followers, exchanged uneasy glances but obeyed without question.

Skales, ever cautious, dared to approach Lord Garmadon, seeking clarity amidst the swirling uncertainty. "Why Golden Peak, my lord?" he inquired, his voice tinged with apprehension. "Should we not seize the opportunity presented by the chaos in Ninjago City?"

Lord Garmadon's eyes gleamed with malevolent intent as he rose from his throne, the Sword of Fire held aloft in a menacing gesture. "We journey to Golden Peak to unlock the full might of these weapons," he declared, his tone dripping with malice. "And to seek out and destroy the chosen one."

Skales and the serpentines, ignorant of the prophecy that foretold the rise of the ninja savior, could only nod in fearful submission. With a commanding gesture, Skales rallied his fellow serpentine warriors, urging them to set course for Golden Peak without delay.

Alone once more, Lord Garmadon brooded upon his throne, his mind swirling with conflicting emotions. Thoughts of his brother Wu's betrayal and Misako's treachery gnawed at his consciousness, threatening to consume him with anger and resentment. Yet amidst the turmoil, he found a twisted sense of gratitude towards Misako for unwittingly providing him with a powerful ally in his quest for dominance.

As he contemplated his next move, his thoughts inevitably turned to his son, the mysterious figure who had orchestrated his release from the realm of Madness. What was the boy doing now, he wondered. Was he aware of the role he played in his father's plans? With a cold determination, Lord Garmadon resolved to mold his son into a weapon, a tool to be wielded in his ruthless pursuit of power.

Lloyd POV

Standing before the headmaster's office, I felt the weight of my request pressing down on my shoulders like a heavy burden. Each step closer to the sliding door seemed to amplify the mix of nerves and determination swirling within me. With a deep breath to steady my nerves, I raised my hand and rapped on the door three times, the sound echoing faintly down the empty hallway.

When no immediate response came, frustration began to bubble up inside me. Why was the headmaster not here when I needed him the most? Pushing the door open just a crack, I peered cautiously into the dimly lit room beyond. There, seated in the center of the space, was the headmaster, deep in meditation amidst the soft glow of flickering candles.

Despite my annoyance at the inconvenience, I stepped into the room, my resolve unwavering. As I approached his desk, my eyes were drawn to a peculiar flute resting among the scattered papers. Its intricate design caught my attention, and I couldn't resist picking it up to examine it closer. Before I could fully inspect it, however, the headmaster's swift movement caught me off guard as he deftly caught the flute before it could fall.

"What brings you here, Abaddon?" His voice, though calm, held a hint of reproach as he regarded me with a patient yet slightly annoyed expression.

Gathering my thoughts, I presented him with the carefully prepared document outlining my request. "I wish to take a month's leave from school to focus on recovering my eyes and strengthening my body," I stated firmly, extending the paper towards him. "I only require your permission to do so."

The headmaster studied the document for a moment, his gaze thoughtful, before reaching for a quill and swiftly signing his approval. As he did so, I couldn't help but sense a flicker of curiosity in his demeanor, as if he wondered about the purpose of my sudden leave.

"And what do you plan to do during this time?" His inquiry, though casual, hinted at a deeper curiosity about my intentions.

"I have some personal matters to attend to," I replied cryptically, careful not to reveal too much. "But rest assured, I will return soon."

With the headmaster's permission now secured, I made my way back to my dormitory to gather my belongings. My roommate, Pluto, looked puzzled by my sudden decision, but I assured him that everything was in order.

Before departing, I sought out Melony, offering her my treasured smiling mask as a token of my promise to return. "Hold onto this for me until I come back," I instructed her, my voice gentle yet resolute.

Once packed and prepared, I bid farewell to my friends, concealing my identity behind a face mask and hat. With their understanding and acceptance, I set out on my journey, my thoughts consumed by the task that lay ahead: finding the elusive door that would lead me to my next destination.

Heroes POV

They were back at the monstery watching Noah training non-stop, he knew that the final battle between good and evil was going to happen so he had to be prepared. He lay on the floor as Nya looked at him with an uneasy glance. She was working on her mech, it took them about 4 weeks to figure out that she was Samurai X.

"You keep on looking at me, what do you want?" Noah finally asked.

"You be training yourself to the point of exhaustion," Nya told him. "We know that you are the chosen one but Kai, Jay, Cole, and Zane are also in the prophecy to help you." She further explained. "you don't have to do this alone is all I'm saying."

Noah only nodded before going back to testing out his ability, he knew that but he was the one who had to defeat his uncle. The rest of them are just there to support him. He got a good grasp on what his ability could do, he could create any object but he could only create people he know or saw. So technically he can't make someone he doesn't know, and he can't also create lands, sky, or bodies of water.

His father was walking by and glanced at him without saying a single word, he left the monastery for a reason he wouldn't know. He felt angry with his father, he always hiding everything from him and his mother was not making it any better. She will always tell him that his father is doing that to protect him but in reality, he will just walk into danger blindly without knowing a thing. Cole approaches him,

"You both need to make up," he expressed. "Even if you have to make the first move."

Noah looked up at him. "He needs to apologize first and explain everything to me." He finally stood up. "I always suffer from his actions."

Cole only shook his head, "I know that sometimes Wu is quite strange or annoying but he is our Sensei and your father." He looked at his phone and his lock screen showed a picture of a man and woman with a little boy who Noah suspect is Cole. "I don't want you guys to end up like me and my father."

Noah understood where Cole was coming from, Cole and his father fought about how he didn't want to be part of the Royal Blacksmiths. He walked out of those doors and they never talked to each other again, Noah didn't know what happened to Cole's mother since he never talked about her but she was obviously out of the picture.

The same goes for Kai and Nya, both of their parents disappeared when they were kids. Kai had to raise Nya on his own. Nya did tell them that ladies from the village would come every day to take care of them but Kai wouldn't let them touch them. Zane doesn't even remember his father, It may be due to past trauma or he lost his memory. Jay is the only one who has parents among the four but he is embarrassed talking about them since he was raised in a junkyard.. Noah is the only one with a normal family, right now he is rejecting them because he is overwhelmed because he has to defeat his uncle. And the fact that Lord Garmadon's son is now in the picture is not making him feel better.

The fact that they don't know anything about his existence is what makes him so hard to find. They could assume he is not good since he gave Lord Garmadon the Golden Weapons. They don't even know where Lord Garmadon is right now, that is what makes him troubled.

"Don't worry Cole I will," Noah responded. "Even if I am mad at him, he is still both my father and Sensei. I will make things right when he comes back."

Cole went back inside the monastery as Noah sighed, he is pathetic.

Sensei Wu stepped into the Mystake Tea Shop, the aroma of brewing tea wafting through the air, instantly calming his senses. Mystake, the enigmatic old woman who ran the shop, greeted him with a faint frown upon her wrinkled face. She was accustomed to his frequent visits but seemed wary of his presence today.

"What can I do for you today, Wu?" Mystake inquired, her voice carrying a hint of curiosity mixed with a touch of suspicion.

"I'm not here for tea this time, Mystake," Sensei Wu replied, his tone serious. "I have a question for you."

Mystake's eyebrows lifted in mild surprise, her gaze sharpening as she focused on him. "Ask away," she said, her expression unreadable.

"On the day the Great Devourer was released, did anyone come to your shop requesting Traveler tea?" Sensei Wu's voice was measured, his eyes searching Mystake's face for any sign of recognition.

Mystake paused, her gaze distant as she recalled the events of that fateful day. "Yes," she finally replied, her voice tinged with a hint of uncertainty. "A boy, he had visited before and purchased Tomorrow Tea. This time, he asked for Traveler Tea, but I didn't inquire about his reasons."

Sensei Wu nodded thoughtfully, the pieces of the puzzle slowly falling into place in his mind. The boy she described sounded remarkably similar to Noah. Memories of Noah's childhood flashed through his mind, the boy's insatiable curiosity often leading him into unpredictable situations.

"Can you describe the boy to me?" Sensei Wu asked, his curiosity piqued.

Mystake considered his request for a moment before responding. "The first time I saw him, he had blond hair and green eyes," she recalled, her gaze distant as she delved into her memories. "But the next time we met, his appearance had changed. His hair was black, and his eyes glowed red."

Sensei Wu's brow furrowed in concern. The sudden transformation of the boy's appearance only deepened the mystery surrounding him. It was clear that this boy possessed powers beyond ordinary comprehension, powers that could shape the fate of Ninjago itself.

With a solemn nod, Sensei Wu thanked Mystake for her insight, his mind already racing with plans to uncover more about Lord Garmadon's son. If he could learn more about the boy's intentions and motivations, perhaps there was still hope to steer him away from the path of darkness.

As he left the tea shop, Sensei Wu knew that he had a daunting task ahead of him. But he was determined to do whatever it took to bring about a brighter future for Ninjago, even if it meant facing the darkest of challenges head-on.
