"Before everyone else arrives, I would.like a word with you," Chase uttered, and Astrid gulped again.
"Yes, Father," Astrid replied, and Liam frowned while their siblings became smug. The expression of triumph on her older siblings, Astrid instinctively started fiddling with her dress and dread and anxiety washed over her.
"I told you not to fret, didn't I, Astrid?" Liam asked. He knew that her actions were instinctively, her reaction whenever facing them and he wasn't proud k owing for he was among those who made this way, but right now, it was annoying and she needed to get a grip of herself because they'll keep using thay against her and they'll have the upper hand each time.
