Snarls, growls, and whimpers were heard as the fight continued. The metallic stench of blood filled the air, becoming too strong for the creatures with a strong sense of smell such as the werewolves and the two vampires in the audience.
Liam and Astrid gave a side glance at Lyrud and Roman. They didn't have to be shifters to know that the amount of blood spilled out there to know that something was going on in the heads of those two vampires.
Lyrus remained pacing while Roman had to fight the urge to feed. The smell was too much, driving into hunger immediately. He caused it multiple times in his mind, but he still forced himself to remain standing in the same position. His teeth ached to sink into flesh, casting him to close his eyes and not look beside him. Astrid was right there, and her neck had never looked more delectable.
