"Uncle," Roman called as soon as he opened the door to the study. Stepping inside his foot halted midair upon seeing the woman inside with Lyrus. "Mother," he called, surprised to see her there.
"Since you have refused to come home, I decided to come see you. Is that wrong?" Lady Vivienne asked as she stood up and approached her son.
Roman smiled and went to her so she wouldn't have to move around too much although she didn't didn't look much older than himself. "I am sorry for that, Mother. I have been… occupied," he uttered as she wrapped her hand around him.
"I can tell," she said in understanding. "I haven't been much of a sister either. This is my first visit here since my brother's awakening, so I thank you for staying on my behalf."
"Well…" Roman scratched the back of his head as he didn't want to burst her bubble.
