Although it wasn't in his plans to meet any royals, he couldn't turn them down. Not when he would be back here snooping around later. So he followed the guard into the castle and, this time, to one of the few places he was not allowed to enter.
"Please wait here while I inform the King," the guard said and left him after he gave a nod, and he nodded his head.
A few minutes later, Edgar, Dahlia, and Auriana walked in, accompanied by the guard.
"You may leave,"Dahlia dismissed the guard.
"Your Majesties," Skylar greeted with a bow, but he couldn't look at the princess. There was a glimmer in his eyes when he saw the princess also making her way in. His gaze locked with the princess', and for a moment, he couldn't believe what he saw.
"Skylar from the White Moon Pack?" Edgar asked as he successfully pulled the young man's attention away from Auriana.
