"Do you mind if I come in?" Astrid paused, looked at the maid in the room ad if asking if she also heard the question. "I am right here," the familiar annoying voice came from the balcony.
Astrid and the maid both looked towards the balcony and saw Roman leisurely leaning against the frame. It was already open, and he could just walk through but rather chose to ask for permission.
"Could you give us a moment?" Astrid looked at the maid and asked.
"Yes, Princess," uttered the maid and left the room.
Once the door closed, Roman walked inside the room.
"I didn't say you could come in," Astrid said with a glare. He raised a brow, but he didn't stop his steps. "What do you think you are doing?" Astrid took a step back despite not feeling any danger from him. Rather, her heartbeat pick up.
"What do you think I am doing?" He returned her question.
