Edgar stared at the vampire king seated in front of him without knowing where to begin. He was both angry at the fact he was his daughter's mate and that he played him for a fool.
Was it so hard to tell him the truth during his visit here the first time?
"Staring at me won't change a thing, Edgar," Lyrus spoke, and Edgar growled. "And to be honest, I stoll can't stand you, but for the sake of my mate, I'll try to," he continued like he didn't hear the alpha growling at him. "She wouldn't like it if her beloved and father fight instead of getting along regardless of your fragile bond."
"Curse you, Lyrus," Edgar growled as his irises started to glow silver. The beast in him threatened to break out.
"You would attack your daughter's mate?" Lyrus raised a brow and cooked his head to the side. "Do you even love your daughter?"
