Tap, tap, tap–!
A group of people wearing white police clothes with a logo 'DMPD' on the left side of their chest could be seen heading towards the direction of the 'Z' tower of the Azrael Academy.
All of them were following a young lady with long white coat with black strips on its edges and she had a cigar on her thin cherry lips.
She had a pretty triangular shaped face adorned with purest fair skin together with long black waist long hair that brought out her piercing magenta eyes.
Her height reached six feet five making her the tallest of the group and carried a slightly slender body which would make anyone turn their heads, but it was also built for war.
Before they could reach the 'Z' tower the group met a sight they could only see in the war against the Ashes which made them halt their steps in shock.
A large number of cadets which couldn't be counted by head lay died on the ever green lawn with either their heads missing or had a small hole in their chest.
The young lady moved over to one of the corpses and she opened her lips.
"Most of this cadets don't even seem to know that there were being killed, meaning that Ace moved at a god like speed or–"
The black haired lady couldn't finish her words as a low pitched voice echoed in her mind.
(He could have stopped them all from moving entirely.)
The young lady nodded as it totally made sense considering Ace's evaluation, even if he had been possessed by an Ash his rank will only grow to Gold 1 at best.
"Detective Fallout!"
Christie slowly turned her head towards the average looking young man with short dark blue hair who was standing right behind her.
"You called Starboy?"
The young man swallowed his saliva, as he blushed a bit to the sweet voice of someone he had a crush on for more than a decade now.
"Judging by the status of the dead bodies I could say that Ace Moonfall's location is still within a hundred mile radius."
The young detective nodded at her male partner letting him continue.
"Let me take the men and go after him."
Christie nodded and added.
"Be careful he has a weird skill that lets him stop people's movements."
"Understood detective!"
Starboy quickly looked at the group behind him and nodded before they rushed towards all corners of the world leaving the female detective all alone.
Christie stood up before she entered the 'Z' tower where she was greeted by the same scene as outside.
"He really wasn't sparing any body?"
(It is more like he couldn't spare them.)
The young detective frowned, as she climbed the blooded stares.
"It could be a high ranking Ash or..."
(Or, what?)
"He has something like you."
Christie received her blessing before she even got the system and ever since then she has been asked to read a lot of books in exchange for its ability to see through everything.

The voice stayed silent as it couldn't find anything to say to Christie, since it only knows that there are eleven of its kind but not their abilities.
Christie reached the door that led to class 2 - Z and slowly walked in, as she muttered.
"Activate."
The sight inside the classroom was the same as outside with the only difference being that the people killed where high ranking military officials and her eyes displayed,

The same blue translucent notifications kept on showing up in her eyes, until she reached a familiar person also laying dead on the ground with a sword cut on his heart.
"Review more."
At Christie's command a huge translucent screen showed up.

Christie dismissed the screen, as she noticed something off with the dead bodies.
"They all died in a period of one minute."
The young detective's face turned pale, as killing all the people in the whole classroom in a minute was beyond insane even for a Black ranked awaken.
(The ones outside also died in a minutes time.)
Fear washed over Christie's face as she realized the strength of the person they were dealing with.
(Seeing that he used the flaming sword to kill everyone here we can tell that he was not possessed by an Ash.)
Christie nodded and sat on one of the empty benches.
"So the rumors about him are fake after all, then I have to report to the Government before he joins Ravine or Dawn."
Ring, ring, ring–!
Christie's phone rang and pulled her out of her daze, as she quickly answered it.
"Detective Fallout speaking."
–"We have found Ace Moonfall on Beit Bridge and we are currently waiting for your orders."
Christie's expression quickly lit up, as she got up from her seat.
"Starboy don't do anything before I arrive."
–"Yes Detective."
The young detective hung up the call, as she walked towards the stain glass close to her and jumped outside, but as she was half way down a pair of raven black wings grew from her back.
"I hope he is willing to talk."
Christie started to fly towards the south where Beit Bridge and Britca Province are located.
Christie arrived at Beit Bridge which is the largest bridge owned by the Dyke Government and, also the border between the two Academies and Britca Province which is filled mostly by non-awakened.
Before she could land on the bridge Christie could see a single SUV car surrounded by white military police cars.
Starboy who sensed his crush coming quickly got out of his car and waved at Christie to come towards his way.
The young Detective got to the ground and asked,
"Did he try to move?"
Starboy shock his head and looked at the black SUV.
"Are you going to use your skill to see if its not a trap."
Christie nodded, after all Ace might also know that everything from the Academy has a tracker meaning this all could be a trap.
"Activate."
Nothing showed up in Christie's eyes and she quickly knew that it was because she didn't read enough books. She slowly started to walk towards the car to keep her honor in front of her team.
"Are you going to be okay?"
Christie raised her hand to signal starboy that she was going to be okay. The young lady reached the car and she could hear the sound of someone snoring from inside.
She didn't to wake up the person sleeping and gently opened the door to the passenger seat, but her eyes feasted on something she did expect to see.
