Chapter 4 - Understanding the system

Each student try their best to do good in the test and the interview, but all of them were nerves. Mr Smith was looking to everyone but specially the five students that have the system on the heart. Mr Smith had a flash back when he himself was a student, 'I know they are more nerves than the rest. This is the first time that happen after fifteen years.' The other mentors were thinking the same, but these students were interested and they don't know how to make it work for them.

Mrs and Mr Armstrong were walking thru the aisles making the sound of toc/tic in each step; making the students more nerves as they are. "Okay everyone please finish the assignment and open the next one in three, two, one," Mrs Bech said, "and now the next assignment is a simple one. You fill the blacks and get an understanding of the system." She smiles and walk to the back of the room. "Well let see how they act to this new assignment," Mrs Bech thought, "none has pass it with flagging colors, because everyone thinks is not big deal." That is because now some kind of game to understand the system. Mrs Green was seated by the podium looking to it seem a laptop, but it was the system itself. "Well, now let see how they reacting to this," Mrs Green thought and looked to see each student score for this.

No all the students were thinking, "this'll be a piece of cake, look a the questions even a five year old can answer it." But only five students look the questions, rise their head and make the same expression face like now what's this. They look to the podium and no help there, with their eyes follow the two are walking nothing; so they look for the one it seems to be more helpful Mr Smith. "Excuse me sir," one of the male student said rise his hand after reading all the questions, "I have a question about the assignment in front of me."

Mr Smith smile and asks, "what is your question, the instructions didn't help?" "Well, in a way they did, but still have questions," the student replied. "Ahh, and you are,?" Mr Smith said, "Mr…?"

The student stand and lowing his head a little bow and answer, "Field, Sebastian David Field. At your service, Mr Smith." Mr Smith walk to the podium and look what Mrs Green was looking and press the photo of this student and said, "that this help now." Sebastian look at his system with an open mind and only said, "thank you Mr Smith."

Ten seconds later, another hands rise. This time four hands rise; "same question, name please," Mr Smith said with a smile and moving his head." "Enrique Ernesto Owen, at your service," the two male student answered it with a bow too. Next was the female student with a courtesy answer, "Natalia Lizbeth Ross, Mr Smith. A pleasure to meet you." After her, the third male student stand and salute, "Samuel Thomas Carter, Sir." Last but not least, "Eduardo Anthony Evans, a pleasure to meet you, too."

Each time the student said his/her name; Mr Smith press the student's photo. After that he ask to them "any other question, it's everything clear now," but Mr Smith had a very different smile than before. Each student looked at his/her system, and with a surprise in their face the system said, "yes even a five year old could answer the questions, but you read the questions and ask for assistance. You five are the first team select it. Congratulations you understood the system."
