Chapter 51 - The Results Of Mix Breeding

Staring at the woman with crazy eyes that said 'fight me' the Warden sneered. "A little girl who cannot see Mount Tai."

The princess seeing him looking down on her eyes turn cold. She ignored his taunts and place her fingers on the blade of her katana.

Moments later blood was drawn from her fingers, blood that was black in color. Soon the blade became covered in a miasma similar to the color of her crystal like power.

"This 'little girl' is going to kill you." The princess smiled maniacally sending shivers down the Warden spine.

"Behind!" The Warden yelled as he witness the princess figure become blurry. Startled by her speed he turn around to see the blade of her katana aiming at the middle of his head, ready to slice him in half.

BANG!

He crossed both his hands together causing the blade to land right on them. What you would have expected next didn't happen as a metallic sound was heard like a rock being thrown at a metal surface.

'Strong!' The princess thought with excitement written on her face as she watch her katana covered in black miasma struggle to slice his hands off. Not even a slight cut could be seen.

"It seems this is all you got." The Warden laughed to himself as he flung his two hands upward, making the princess back off.

The princess jumped a distances away as she stare at the Warden with curious eyes.

"Your not human I presume?" She asked while titling her head in confusion.

Her confusion was understandable. After all, the Warden did not use endless energy to block her attack. What he used was pure strength to defend against her katana, something not many humans could do.

"Hmph! I am the strongest body cultivator alive!" The Warden roared as his eyes move from the princess to Qi Jian continuously. He was worried that Qi Jian would sneak up on him when he least expect it.

He was also a bit apprehensive of the princess. "What is that black miasma..." He questioned inwardly. He could feel his body growing weak by the second.

"A human body cultivator can never possess such strength. After all, the human race is weak when it comes to physical strength." She said as she placed her free hand on her chin as she contemplate something.

"You're thinking too much little girl." The Warden replied as he tried to get rid of whatever was weakening his body.

However, before he could continue, out of nowhere he saw the princess swinging his sword at his chest.

'How is she so fast!' Sensing danger coming from that attack he swiftly dodged as he threw his hand at her in an attempt to catch her off-guard.

Sadly, his plan failed as she became a blur and appear in the position she was before.

'This speed isn't something someone who is merely 200 years old should possess!' The Warden scream internally in shock. One must know that the speed at which she was moving is similar to a thousand year old vampire, one of the fastest races in this world.

"Let me guess, you are Hang Jiaotong? The dog born from mix breeding?" The princess asked with a mocking smile.

"To think a mixed wolf would become slaves to humans." She chuckled to herself as she cover her mouth to hide her mocking grin. Unfortunately, although she could hide her smile, she couldn't hide her eyes that look at him in disgust.

"Well what can you expect from a dog I guess... HAHAHAHAH!" She exclaimed, laughing very maniacally.

Hang Jiaotong is a mixed wolf born from a vampire and wolf. In the culture of the Ancient Domain, mix breeding is heavily looked down on as these races believe in the aspect of having pure blood.

Especially when it comes to vampires and wolves. Although they may live peacefully now, that doesn't mean they like each other. During many wars, especially the one 200,000 years ago the vampires and wolves were always at odds.

Reason? They just don't like one another. Their smell, appearance, their way of living... everything.

Its just like how high elves or well.. all elves hate half elves born from humans. Their mere existence disgust them.

But at least they have a reason from history for hating humans. That historical reason being that the human race stole from their mother tree.

The vampires and wolves now. They don't have such a reason. They just hate one another for the reason that they just hate their existence.

In Hang Jiaotong case, he was a direct descendant of the current King of Wolves daughters.

When the King of Wolves found out about his daughters mix breeding he was furious. Especially when he saw the abyssal look in her eyes as she kept calling out a mans name that could only mean she was charmed by a vampire. A powerful vampire at that.

This made his fury explode. On that day it was recorded that the King of Wolves went directly to the Vampire King doorsteps and killed off all his male descendants until none was left.

He then fought the Vampire King for 300 days and nights, destroying the Vampire King castle and his city in the process until other leaders of different races came to stop them.

Because of what he did he gained the name Ruthless Devil Wolf.

After all of that was over. Due to Hang Jiaotong status and the fact that the King of Wolves love all his children they tried keeping the mix breeding a secret. At the end of the day, he still have his bloodline in him, something wolves cherish very much.

However, because of his actions, a thousand years later the secret blew up and everyone across the Ancient Domain knew about Hang Jiaotong mixed blood.

This led to a commotion amongst the wolves and vampires.

The wolves wanted to keep him alive due to him being one of the strongest wolves of his generation back then. Although the wolves hate vampires what they respect the most is strength and talent.

And that was what the Hang Jiaotong of that time had. He was so strong for his age that he easily surpassed all of the King of Wolves descendants, earning himself the position of alpha general, the best position the werewolf race have to offer.

However, the vampires and especially other races in the Ancient Domain thought differently. They thought with his mixed blood he could cause certain political changes to the Ancient Domain.

They thought with his strength and talent he could easily surpass the King of Wolves and Vampire King given time and with his status as mixed blood, he could create a alliance that could make great waves in the Ancient Domain.

After all, the Werewolf and Vampire race are the two strongest races in the Ancient Domain. If the two were to form an alliance they could easily unite the Ancient Domain into one banner, something the other races don't wish to see.

Including races outside the Ancient Domain.

This is why the races of Blue Domain are wary of the Central Domain as their only wish is to become the only dominant figure in the world.

With races all around the world threatening him to surrender Hang Jiaotong the King of Wolves had no other option but to fake Hang Jiaotong death and send him away from the werewolf race.

Unfortunate, his facade failed as the moment he left the werewolf race he was hunted down by vampires.

He should have died back then, but as if the gods pitied him he was saved by the Sword Sovereign and sent to the human race by him to hide until things calm down.

"How dare you!" Hang Jiaotong roared as horrible memories came flowing in his head. Fur grew out of of his skin, his teeth turn sharp and bat like wings came out of his back.

His finger nails grew sharp similar to that of wolverine before he lunged himself at the princess.

"As expected, hybrids are truly disgusting." The princess sneered with endless battle intent as she swung her katana at the approaching monster.

"Don't underestimate me girl!" Hang Jiaotong hissed as his claws came in contact with her katana.

BOOM!

A clinging sound was heard before a earsplitting screech of two blades scratching against one another was created, causing the entire underwater prison to tremble.

The princess smile grew as she recover her katana to go in again.

Hang Jiaotong noticing her actions also followed up with a claw of his own.

Soon endless strikes spread around, seemly trying to penetrate the walls of the prison before it quickly activates its recovery system.

Still, the walls couldn't keep up as soon they began breaking, claw and sword marks cover the entire prison.

Tapping into his wolf and vampire form Hang Jiaotong could now easily keep up with her speed.

"Die!" Hang Jiaotong screamed with bloodshot eyes.

"I won't die until I defeat you!" The princess yelled with unyielding eyes.

She back away a little as she took on a serious expression causing the miasma on the blade of her katana to grow.

"Take this!" She shouted, swinging her blade, letting out the miasma that took on the appearance of excited flames!

'Those black miasma were flames!' Coming to an understanding he swipe his hand to his left creating a wild breeze with his physical strength that blew away the flames.

"It seems like your battle instincts have weaken old man!" The princess voice came from behind him as her katana went right through his heart.

"How did you—" Hang Jiaotong spat out a mouthful of blood in shock. Although his heart was pierce such a wound should not affect someone with the blood of both wolf and vampire.

"I poisoned you with my miasma." She spoke in a robotic tone, returning to her emotionless persona. All her battle intent vanishing into thin air.

"My miasma has the power to weaken any being no matter if you are mortal or god."

"That's not what I meant! How did you appear behind me without me noticing!" Hang Jiaotong hissed at her arrogant tone.

"Oh that. My miasma is like a mark. I marked you allowing me to teleport anywhere close to you without you being able to sense me."

"That and also the fact that you've grown weak over these years. Like seriously? Did the Sword Sovereign really leave you in this prison all these years?" The princess shook her head in disappointment at this thought. A strong man who was considered a genius of his time reduced to this state was really disappointing for a battle maniac like her.

"Tsk. It seems like I lost to a little girl." He stated. Everything she said was right. He locked himself in this prison without any ounce of training the moment the Sword Sovereign turn him into the Warden on this place.

Without any training and no fighting he grew weak. Weak to the point that Yu Sheng with crimson night could probably fight him head on for a while.

"I am glad you know." The princess smiled, her eyes still expressionless as her miasma grew to consume Hang Jiaotong entire body.

Noticing he will be dying soon Hang Jiaotong turn to stare at Qi Jian who was looking at everything all this time with an amused face.

"Oh I wish I could see your face when the Sword Sovereign comes out of seclusion to take you head."

"It's a pity you won't ever see that day come." Qi Jian responded with a mocking smile.

Hang Jiaotong only stare dead into his eyes at that comment before he also smile while chuckling.

"I will see you in hell then." He disclosed as his entire body began burning in black flames until his body turn to ashes.

Just like that an expert that caused fear to the Ancient Domain due to his mixed blood died at the hands of measly girl who is merely 200 years old.
