After witnessing the patriarch drink the drop of crimson liquid, Sebastian watched as the patriarch's body healed instantly. Before he could react, the patriarch appeared in front of him and delivered a powerful blow.

Suddenly, the patriarch's speech came to an abrupt halt, coughing up a mouth full of black blood. He then let out a blood curdling scream before he started to undergo a transformation.
"AAAHH! What is happening to me?!" He shouted in agonizing pain.
Soon, he dropped to the floor, puking out even more black blood on the spot before falling over motionless.
"Did he just… die?" Sebastian questioned.
However, contrary to his thoughts, the patriarch's body sunk into the flesh ground. Then, he felt the ground shake violently as the flesh chambers began to collapse, evident by the falling rocks from the ceiling.
