On a makeshift battlefield, Evergreen stood a few meters away from Jay. The gauntlets on his hands were clenched tightly as the ground beneath him began to freeze.
"Start!" Patrice shouted at the top of her lungs.
In an instant, Evergreen flash-stepped forth and appeared above Jay, swinging his fists down upon the boy. However, Jay simply grabbed onto his gauntlets and threw him to the side.
"Forfeit," Jay requested.
Evergreen, who was flying through the air, slammed onto the ground and quickly regained his footing. As he stood up, he thrusted his fist through the air and unleashed a tunnel of ice.
Jay watched as the tunnel of ice neared him and quickly thrust his spear forth, instantly shattering the attack into the pieces. He took a single step forth and appeared in front Evergreen, grabbing him by the head and slamming him into the ground.
'What?!' Evergreen thought in disbelief.
"Try not to die," Jay warned.
