The night was full of howling and caws. It was hell down there as Nightcrawlers preyed on the creatures leaving there and the Caols in turn preyed on them . We were unaffected by them so we continued moving forward.
After 18 hours of walking , we finally reached the elevator. We were tired but at least we were there . The elevator was already raised to the top of the wall so we just entered and pulled the lever downwards.
The elevator moved down and as we descended we saw a stone go up. We looked at the village as we descended and we could not help but feel something was wrong . The village had about 50 small houses including taverns and inns. They practised farming as there was land with browning crops. However it felt deserted. There was not a single person in sight. There was no sound as even the wind was silent.
